As time goes by, are you a better or worse speller?

I think I'm worse. I rely on spell-checkers heavily.

About the same. I've always been a good speller, even as a kid.

I've definitely improved since I first started to write, but I think I levelled off by about the age of 11 or 12. I did have a bit of a blip after I was ill for a few months with headaches and dyslexia-type symptoms - for a few years, I would often miss the last letter or two of a word when I was handwriting. I had to take a lot of care to proofread my work properly. It doesn't seem to be too much of a problem now, but that may be because the only formal work I have done over the last few years has been typed and carefully checked over. When I write by hand, it's usually just jotting down notes and I don't always return to it later.

About the same. There are some words that I never could spell right. I've stopped trying to remember how.

I think I'm getting better, especially since I recently learned to type, and I've been using Firefox now and it has spell check so I think it's better, but I think my grammar leaves much to be desired.

I question myself more. I was a straight A English student through a Junior in high school, with the exception of one B. I have lost the skills.

I'm about average speller.

It's funny but I was always a good speller and was in spelling bees in school. But now as I get older I have to think about word spellings that came automatically in the past.
