Galomorro	posted 11-Apr-2008 12:30pm   Sports, religious, music channels (because they don't have any WORLD music channels), sitcoms, reality, dramas, soap operas, talk shows and most everything else EXCEPT educational. The only time I'd watch would be at my neighbor's apt. if there was something interesting going on in the world, and we'd watch a few minutes of news. I don't like much of anything on TV. I do like certain educational programs and sometimes watch these over at my friend's. Once in a great while I'll watch a mystery with him. Now, though, I can pick and choose what I want to watch, and without commercials -- I finally got Netflix and am finding sufficient and various stuff there. I used to just LOVE one TV show, back in 1990 or so, called "Memories of Portugal." It was a local program based in Northern Cal and was an hour long, all in Portuguese, with news from Portugal, AND various traditional folkdances locally and traditional fado and folk videos. That, to me, was pure heaven. But it no longer exists.

judgescratch	posted 11-Apr-2008 2:28pm   Sports religious and news. I have to clarify the news thing, though. I loathe my local news. Absolutely loathe it. However, I enjoy fox news, c span, cnn, etc.

LindaH	posted 11-Apr-2008 4:02pm   I don't like sports, soaps, religious, reality, drama, or talk shows. I hardly ever watch TV. I don't like most sit coms, but some are ok. News is ok, but I'd rather read it than watch it. Music channels are good, but only if the music is good. Educational shows are cool.

Well, educational programs aren't so bad, but I'm very picky. I downloaded Jonathan Miller's The History of Atheism the other week and that was pretty good.

Biggles	posted 12-Apr-2008 2:13pm   I'm not keen on watching sports and musical channels are boring. I don't like soaps or talk shows either. I'll watch programming under any of the other categories, but I prefer decent quality shows.

I don't really like house renovations and other things that happen to people I don't know. I like anything funny, And of course I must watch Dr Phil. Psychologically speaking I can kick his ass but I still like his show.

I like news magazines but not the nightly news, only a couple sitcoms. Most shows I watch are reality or educational. Some dramas I guess- Medium, House, Law and Order, Dexter. I HATE shows like ER

I used to watch a few of these years ago. Probably Drama would be on the list...I take it that is like something on the Lifetime channel. Blah...ocky

harry	posted 26-Apr-2008 4:00pm   The so-called reality shows are far too plentiful and bore me. The contestants seem too self-centered and emotionally melodramatic.
