I'm average, but become more softie when it gets real slow around here. Substandard surveys are better than no new surveys at all.

I've never been asked to qualify a survey

I used to be what I considered to be somewhat strict, especially on grammar and things like prohibiting some members from answering surveys (like gender-specific surveys with no option for the other gender to answer), as well as having enough options to encompass every possible answer someone could give. But everyone here has their own opinion as to what makes a good survey, and some appreciate some comments while others don't, and Qual doesn't seem to have much effect anyway (or did a while back) on if a survey made it through - all surveys would pass eventually.

But now I pretty much never visit Qual at all, unless I see a BUNCH OF CAPITAL LETTER SURVEYS AND STUFF IN THE DELETED SURVEYS FORUM. Then I might go in to see what's up.

I'm kind of average I guess. Once in a while I make a comment.

I'm kind of average when it comes to that...I'm paranoid of becoming like one of the problem makers in the past.

If I can't give it a "reasonable," I don't submit an opinion at all.

you aren't asked, you just go to the unqualified surveys and vote for or against qualification.......... it's just a part of the site!

Fairly strict and hate seeing spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes. But I've changed and say f*#k it anymore instead of criticizing these things.

I'm a softie. I can't help it. Especially when it's an interesting one, because sometimes the person will not fix errors and then we don't get to answer.

It varies a lot. At times I feel qual is being too harsh, and I feel that as long as a survey is intelligible, it's okay. Then at other times I get fed up with people not even trying and get really dogy about it. Qual's not nearly as bad without Kate messing with it.

That’s me sometimes to, especially when the concept is good but it is so poorly written I just do not have the heart to tear them up so I abstain.

Due to my failing eyesight and my habitual need to be the best I kick ass.

god I'm such an butt-hole sometimes...

No really, some people have paved that path with their harsh words till it became the norm, and showed me that it is rarely helpful. I have become less harsh and have passed potential winners through even though the grammer or spelling was not perfect. I also don't like to be harsh because what if it's my friend that wrote the survey? Or at least I think my friend. Aaaand I don't go their too much because I like the "Q" .

It was amazing how that changed the course of how users thought surveys were to be qualified. I know that person brought out my inner butt-hole in qual. After I had seen what that person or a few others had created, I banned myself from qual until I knew how to be nice agian. I watched how new users became that trend, quite phenominal the virus as it was, submitting a survey and than becoming a qualifier, it was like a wave rebounding back with less tolerance, and figuratively yelling "you suck!"

Well, I'm naturally inclined to be nitpicky about spelling, grammar, punctuation. My tolerance is intentional, in the interest of accepting internet speak and the rules of communicating on the net. I'm just a little old fashioned that way, I guess.
I like qualifying surveys, though.
