PAW is mostly something kids living with their parents use. It stand for Parents Are Watching so if their parents come around they will know to be careful not to get in trouble.

YT is You there?

I know what lol, lmao, rofl, omg, wtf, brb, g2g, noob, w/e, idk, and a/s/l mean. I would only use lol or brb myself though. Lol is okay because it's there to represent body language rather than to be lazy and brb is okay because it's something you use if you need to dash off for a minute.

I've seen all of them before except w/e and PAW. I'd find it hard not to be suspicious of anyone over the age of 21 who knew what PAW meant.

Why, back when I was 21, it was POS (parents over shoulder) sunny.

I take it that it was changed on purpose to throw off the 26-30 something year-olds so once they have kids......
