I just went bowling 2 night ago! ...first time in years and it was Candlepin (which most of you have probably never heard of, it's a New England thing). It kind of sucks too. Regular bowling is funner, in my opinion. The balls in Candlepin are so small, hard to control. And the pins are so thin and hard to hit. Can you tell that I sucked a little when I played recently?
I play Wii Bowling a little too, though not for months, honestly. But, I was kick ass at that. I got 5 strikes in a row once. |

It's not something I did very often until last summer. I was the activity worker at a (mental health) drop-in centre. I took a group bowling once a week. My scores went from 40 to 170 in just a few months. Some of my guys were scoring over 200. It was kind of fun. A nice way to get the folks doing something active. It combines social interaction with positive reinforcement and confidence building. |

No, I've never been to a bowling alley. I've never tried anything like this but somehow a noisy bowling alley and trying to do something like this with my weak arms is just not appealing. Do teams wear different colored shirts? I don't like the idea of uniforms nor team sports. |

I'm really only good when it's on accident though. Just like billiards.
My SO is great at bowling. He used to cook hibachi at an entertainment complex that had bowling lanes. When they weren't busy, they sometimes bowled or played arcade games. |

Very rarely. Generally I'll go with whoever I'm seeing & watch them shoot pool in the arcade part. |

Yes. I'm naff, though. I'm pretty naff at it on Wii Sports too, and bowling is what most people excel at on it. The arcade at the Megabowl in Park 66 has probably seen more of my money than the bowling itself. |

Bowling oh yeah I love it! Now are we talking uphill bowling or down hill bowling? There is a difference! I do not bowl well though I am better at pool. |

I do! I grew up bowling, and enjoy it. I am not any good, but I like the game and generally like the ambience of a bowling alley. |

OTHER: I love to go to a bowling alley but, not to bowl. I love to watch others bowl cause, I suck at bowling.
& I hate those nasty bowling shoes they make you rent. Why can't we use our own shoes? I never could understand that! Having to rent shoes that EVERYBODY & their mother has worn. I have a thing about using shoes that other people have worn. Just not right! |

They should sell packs of shoes you can adjust for when you'd usually have to rent others.
You wanna go bowling? Just paint them red and blue! Ice skating? Stick a steak knife (knife not included) in this slot! Scuba diving? Just use this handy rubber attachment!
And so on and so on... |
