| Melf | posted 26-Mar-2008 4:50am No. Well, it snowed on Easter Sunday, but apart from that it's been rain, wind, and non-weather. |
| jettles | posted 26-Mar-2008 5:46am well, yes for us.... it's been a little chilly but nothing like the northern states have had! |
| verouge | posted 26-Mar-2008 7:58am No |

| bill | posted 26-Mar-2008 10:28am yes, it has been cold and there's still a lot of snow here |
| Enheduanna | posted 26-Mar-2008 10:58am No, we're into the spring weather here. Not that there are major changes and fluctuations in the seasons here. But winter is the rainy season, and it's mostly stopped raining. It's been sunny and very pleasant lately. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 26-Mar-2008 11:02am Wow it is Winter in March and April -10 below zero my furnace runs all day and night, gee thought this was
Spring-Time?? |
| Galomorro | posted 26-Mar-2008 11:19am No, not really. The weather's much the same most of the year as regards temperatures and I pay little attention to it. Except rainy season's not quite over with yet. We may still get some in March and April. |
| thecomic22 | posted 26-Mar-2008 1:41pm Not really. Kinda nippy still. |
| Biggles | posted 26-Mar-2008 2:19pm It's been snowing a bit lately. |
| llamamama | posted 26-Mar-2008 3:17pm Not really..the lows now are in the mid 50s..today it was 70...and it's supposed to increase..Friday it's supposed to be 80..Saturday it'll drop to 62..and Sunday it'll be back up..I think it's safe to say winter's over..Hello, April! |
| they | posted 26-Mar-2008 11:25pm Not really... it was slightly springy today.
Nice and cool and breezy, but warm enough to get outside to do some yard work. We had this weedy old bush growing in the front yard that just would not die. It was one of those that had been chopped down so many times and grew back so many times that it had more than one trunk. We went out today and chopped it down, dug up as many roots and we could get, and dumped some stuff that makes wood rot all over the ground and covered it. Hopefully that does it. The heart of that bush was so huge. |
| cerealkiller | posted 27-Mar-2008 12:49pm No. 70-80 degrees here, everything blooming. |
| cloudhugger | posted 27-Mar-2008 4:42pm Yes. Spring is barely a moment away...I can feel it. |
| autumnlight | posted 27-Mar-2008 7:35pm YES. Manchester is kown for its crapey weather. No snow though, just rain |
| RGirl | posted 27-Mar-2008 11:08pm It's pretty much phased into spring, early spring. Cool, not freezing. A little damp, but not ice. |
| lily333 | posted 27-Mar-2008 11:21pm We're in the 30's and 40's here now. Still coud snow though. |
| kcthedog | posted 28-Mar-2008 12:01am Hell no! I live in Palm Desert where even during winter there is NO winter. I live in nirvana. We have 340 days of sunshine every year.
Sorry! |
| Biggles | (reply to autumnlight) posted 28-Mar-2008 12:27pm Does it actually rain or just drizzle constantly? Whenever I go to Manchester it doesn't seem to be truly raining, but I still always end up soaked. I'm amazed that all Mancunians don't walk around like prunes. |
| kirst | posted 29-Mar-2008 6:17am No, pretty warm here in HK---about 30 degrees Celsius today. |
| Gomezy3k | posted 30-Mar-2008 11:28am What's winter?? Moved to Vegas to get away from it... Can see snow waaaaaaay up on the mountain and that is as close as I want to get to it... The older I get the warmer I like it... figure if I continue to stay alive will be at the equator eventually... LOL |
| Nitroeddy | posted 30-Mar-2008 11:28am We're having pretty much average weather right now. Maybe a little more rain than I'd like but pretty typical for March. |
| LindaH | posted 30-Mar-2008 1:19pm Yep. It's still as cold as judgmental and petty people. |
| Crayons | posted 30-Mar-2008 1:26pm It's kind of chilly but it's now kind of spring in the afternoon and the walk home has been lovely lately, no need for a bulky coat. |
| autumnlight | (reply to Biggles) posted 31-Mar-2008 4:26pm Oh, believe me it rains, in short bursts though. Drizzle is like sunshine to us, lol. I think Manchester is probably the only place that you'll be able to easily buy an umbrella in August! Is your brother still up here? How are his studies going? |
| Biggles | (reply to autumnlight) posted 1-Apr-2008 9:01am My brother is down in Kent now - he's a teacher. We were hoping he might move back up north but it looks like he plans to stay down there for now at least. Maybe Manchester put him off the North for ever more! Are you going to stay for the forseeable future? |
| Zang | posted 3-Apr-2008 9:45am No, the weather has been gorgeous the past week. |
| meowry | posted 11-Apr-2009 11:56pm It's still cold :( |
