As I said in qual: cents in which currency? And 'nah' anyway, they're like five minutes long. |

No. Films in a theater are so expensive these days that I wouldn't pay the regular ticket price to begin with. I'd rather just rent the DVD when it comes out and if there are any commercials on there I guess they could just be fast-forwarded thru. |

I don't go to movies. I wouldn't pay a cent to go in a movie theater in the first place. |

No, I can live with having adverts at the start - I could always just turn up late if it bothered me that much. I would probably pay more if there were adverts interspersed within the film like there are on the telly though. |

Yes, I would. |

No. I'll only go to the movies if someone else is paying, or if I am sneaking in. |
| RGirl | | posted 17-Mar-2008 6:45pm |
Yes, I would. Commercials have no business in the theaters. |

Sure, it's only $.50..But then I might not..I could get me a bouncy ball. |

No, I have all the movies right here at home and lots of movies |

I actually enjoy the commercials and trailers, so no, I wouldn't pay extra. Anyway, if you want to avoid those wouldn't you just enter the theatre 5-10 minutes after the start time? The trailers usually last about that long. |

no, i doubt that would stop them from trying to make more money from the commercialization of the film industry. |

Actually, I'd pay less money and be happy to watch more commercials. I'd watch 15 minutes of commercials if I could see the movie free. |

No. Who cares. |

Fudge movie tickets. I wait until I can download it for free to punish them for trying to charge me so much. |

No, I don't mind the commercials much. |
Kristal_Rose | | posted 19-Mar-2008 6:05pm |
Maybe. I love the trailers though. A cartoon or nature flick beforehand, like in the old days would be cool too. I wonder how much you'd have to pay to not have the movie itself endorse products? Theaters are an even for me though, and I'd rather they not be sullied with ads. It's a bit like attending a formal ball, and having to volunteer with mopping or dishes aftewards. |

I don’t think that fifty cents is the point, I do think that when I pay admission I should not be bombarded with commercialism period! That is why I would go to the movies to avoid commercials. Otherwise I buy/rent the frigging thing and sit at home and watch it (I don’t get out much, sadly). |

Hey CarolL! How have you been?

| autumnlight | | posted 20-Mar-2008 10:59am |
No! I love the trailers! |
| anarchistandy | | posted 20-Mar-2008 5:03pm |
It wouldn't matter if they omitted the ads before the movie, because the movies are full of product placement nowadays. I was disgusted that I even watched that Fantastic Four movie, it made me hate america for trying to sell me things I don't want during a movie that wasn't worth the price of the film it was made on. |
| Pomeranian | | posted 21-Mar-2008 4:52am |
Oh goodness if it really were to come to this I'd just avoid theaters completely, which is tempting anyway. |
| snowmoon | | posted 25-Mar-2008 12:12pm |
I like the commercials. Let's me see what i might be able to watch the next time. |

No, I'd just continue to arrive at the cinema 15 minutes later than the scheduled time. |

It's not really the money that's an issue to me. Previews give you time to buy snacks before the movie and I really like to find out about upcoming films to decide if I want to see them or not. |

Nooo, I like the commercials being there. This way, when I'm late for the movie, it actually hasn't started yet. Plus, even if I'm not late, It's still not worth 50 cents, the tickets are expensive enough to begin with. |
