I dunno about emails, but they constantly send me fwd's on my cell. Though some are funny, can get a bit annoying after a while. |

The junk mail I get isn't from my family or friends. It's from scammers & people trying to sell me stuff I don't want. |

No one sends me any funny junk mail, fortunately. |

Somewhere between 'sometimes' and 'rarely'.
My Mary just figured out how to forward e mails. It's kinda cute she is sending all those cutesy things she think I would like. Even after listening to me complain for several years about getting all the crap forwarded to me. I only sent maybe 1 out of 150 to her. She is sending most because they make her laugh. So I can't say anything, she's so cute about it. It makes her happy, just like it made me happy when I first got mine, and anyone else who first gets theirs. It's usually a fad, soon she'll get over it and join the throngs in dismay over all the forwarded letters.
I'm just glad people think of me, but I don't tell them that I usually delete most of what they send without reading it. I do click on most to see if there is a provate message for me, I got burned a few times by not checking. Like my cousin sends Christian stuff to me alot. But one time she added a message about when she was going to my Aunt's and when I asked her why she didn't tell me she said she did. It was in one of te forwarded junkers. Oops. Another time, I got so pounded with forwarded stuff, I missed the important messages about my friend telling me her dog died. That so sucked. Now I end up spending most of my time deleting junk, so I can check out important stuff. So don't let this discourage anyone here from forwarding stuff to me, I'm mainly talking about the select few who send multitudes of letters, 5 or 6 a day that I have no interest in. Some of those even include e cards during the holidays. |

Oh, funny emails......I am sticking to my answer, sometimes to rarely. Few are funny and I enjoy them, some are not funny and it pisses me off that is 5 minutes of my time I will neverg et back. |

Occasionally, but generally, no. |

I don't like the ones that are forwarded in bulk, if that's what you mean. If someone found something amusing they thought I'd like, that's okay. I like those. I don't like impersonal 'FWD'. |

Katrina! I was just looking at the stats and many in qual told you to add the "other" option... You really should have, I know we can't possibly put everyone's particular habits so "other" always compensates...
Oh and - WELCOME TO SC!!! |

OTHER: WHAT funny junk mail? NO one does this. NO family member sends me mail of any kind, even on birthdays or holidays. |

Yes and no! They can be fun and interesting but at times more trouble than they are worth. I have a couple of friends though that I enjoy hearing from even if it is in the form of a silly joke, the fact that they remembered me has some merit. |

I find nothing at all amusing about junk mail. I've never received junk mail from friends or relatives. It all comes from business concerns and I never look at it any further than is necessary to discern this. Consequently, the subject of the question does not exist and therefore there is nothing for me to like or dislike. Unfortunately there is no option for that and I had to use "no", which is hardly an accurate response. |
