I do not eat chicken at fast food restaurants. Not a rule, but damn close. Fried chicken can hurt me bad so I pick and choose wisely when and where I have that piece of fried chicken. If I am going to be in pain for the rest of the day it better be worth it.

I don't feel qualified to answer. I'm not sure if I've ever been to Popeye's and I try not to eat KFC very often.

If I have to pick from the 2 - KFC. I only had Popeye's once and I don't remember if it was any good.

BUT, we have chains here you don't have and none (except for KFC) serve if fried; it's always roasted;
St-Hubert BBQ
Chalet Suisse, etc...

If I had to pick the best roasted chicken, that would be my local place; Rotisserie Grenache....

Hard choice, but I guess I'd go with Popeye's for fried chicken. Now I'm craving fried chicken . . .

I don't eat at fast food chains of any kind so I wouldn't know. I hear now pressure is being put on these places to make trans-fat illegal and make the food healthier.

I don't think any fast-food chain serves anything that deserves to be called "the best."

Bojangles serves the best fried chicken. Their Bo-Berry Biscuits are also to die for.

Has anyone ever tasted "Sticky Chicken"? Delicious. I watched a food channel yesterday about fried chicken. They said some of the best fried chicken is marinated in brine for two days, then fried....the recipe sounds good.

El Pollo Loco. KFC tastes like crap anymore, greasy, etc. Not like years ago.

I don't really know who is the best, but I am sure it's neither of those two. Certainly Boston Chicken is better than either.

How about "None of them"? I don't think any fast food chain serves chicken that's worth calling good.

Chick Fil A or the chicken place on main street,.. um.. chicken galore! I love love that place but I don't think that it's anywhere else execept here. THAT is like so good I mean I would marry that chicken if it was legal. We'd make lovely lovely greasy babies. Oh did I mention I tend to go overboard when I'm in love? This is one of those times. But seriously.

I don't eat chicken. I have had KFC in the distant past (before I became vegetarian) and recall quite enjoying it, but we stopped getting it after my brother got food poisoning the night before his birthday *frown*

I have no way of knowing. I've never even heard of "Popeye's" chicken.

KFC used to do a roast chicken that was pretty good. I think they took it off their menu.

I don't eat a lot of fast food.

Thanks. It looks like the only Popeye's in Canada are all in Ontario and the closest one to me is in Bellingham...

Never heard of Popeye's.

We have KFC, but given that's a monopoly in the chicken-based fast food market, I couldn't say it was the best.
