In other words, do you know someone (or more than one person) who knows a lot of people and mixes the people they know up such that they also become friends and everyone becomes part of a large friends group?

I'm part of a large group of friends, but it's not because of "social catalysts"?
I'm not one, and I do know someone who seems to be that way. She doesn't like me much and once threw a party "for" me, telling me to invite all of my friends. She never socialised with them at my parties, and I think since she was playing hosty, she'd find it easier. I didn't invite my friends. (lmbo)
I guess my Mary...but I think she is more of a schmoozer. And I mean that in a good way. She knows alot of people. I don't think she mixes them up, tho. She tends to grooup them...sort of...
Yeah. That's basically my group of friends. I know them and they know her and she knows him who I knew already but he also knows those guys who I somewhat know and-- Yeah. It just keeps going on like that. But I really like it. It makes me feel comfortable with whoever I'm around at the time and we all seem to get along great. If you want to count EVERYONE in the group you'll probably get around 20-25.
