My feet are not in the greatest shape so I'm going to get special shoes that have more cushioning. It's not only my feet -- it's more like a body-out-of-alignment problem with back problems. |

My feet are okay. They are fairly long, although that's partly an illusion as they are quite narrow and I have longish toes. I have ten toes, but they are quite unusually shaped - they are very narrow until after the last joint when they become rather bulbous so the effect is a little like a tree frog. I inherited that from my father. Both of my little toes turn under the next toe, even though the rest of my toes are well spaced and I've always worn sensible shoes. I inherited that from my mother. My big toes are the longest. My feet are in reasonable condition, but there is a bit of dry skin on the side of my big toes and the backs of my ankles are scraped (from a very rare occasion on which I did not wear sensible shoes a few days ago). My toenails are "trimmed", by which I mean that they are short, but I only cut my big toe nails, the rest I kind of peel across. I have never painted my toenails (and never will). I don't think I've ever had a foot massage, and I'm sure I've never had my toes sucked. It doesn't appeal. |

My boyfriend bought me a pedicure yesterday. I'd never had one. It was great and my toes look amazing. It was 30 degrees outside this morning but I still wore sandals. Yay! |

I hate my feet right now. They are dry and cracked, but just the surface and I'm not sure what is causing it. It just gets worse and worse. It isn't a fungal kind of thing. The edges of my heels are callused just from dry skin. If anyone knows how to fix this or what it is please tell me! I have tried all sorts of things, lotion, pumice stone, stuff with synthetic urea, Pretty Feet and Hands, those giant files for feet. I can only succeed in keeping it from getting really thick if I keep at it. It is so ugly. |

I've always liked my feet
I've nice ankles (so I've been told)
My second toe is the longest one - but not by much, just to balance things out
My feet are in good condition - I make sure of it
My toe nails are trimmed - again, I make sure of it
They're not painted presently - it's freakin' winter, gimme a break!!
AND I LOVE FOOT MASSAGES!!! *drool* |

Go see a specialist and have a good pedicure. That will fix things up! You can do as they and get a Drummel to file down the dry skin or callouses yourself but it would be better if you saw them do it first. Maintain it with a pumice stone (don't wait until you have so much dry skin that it cracks), use it daily until you feel you need a good pedicure. I use Dr Scholl's Lavender - Just for Her Foot Cream, daily. It works but it's something that must be maintained with regularity. |

My feet are narrow and short and i polish my toe nails and trim my toe nails because my nails will rip into my
pantyhose and I end up destroying one pair of nylons after another |

Sounds like you need a People Body Shop ? to tune up your body and we all need one |

Never heard of a People Body Shop. What is it? My shoes were $238 custom fit and I still owe $178 layaway on 'em. |

Oh a good workout at the health club or gym and what i call a People Body Shop as in Auto Body ? Wow those are
special shoes for you are they like a diabetic ? My sister she is diabetic and Medicare pays for her shoes she wears
shoes just for her condition and my sister she lives in Florida along with my parents
and I was just looking at my mom and dads home in Florida on the internet , they have a 3 bedroom ranch with 2
bathrooms and this home is built to Hurricane code all the doors as well
and the roof is only 12 years old a very nice home in Lake City , FL my parents are trying to sell for $160,000
down from $180,000 ?
They have 5acres spread down there with a workshop and my my mom she has her own little workshop it is soo
cool what they have and a garage that is huge! and i love their kitchen they have videos of all the rooms |
Galomorro |
Oh, well I prefer to walk around outdoors -- gyms are too crowded, it's indoors, and one has to pay for membership. No, I'm not a diabetic but I noticed in the store they have some special sox for diabetics. You gotta be kidding - $160,000 down from $180,000 for 3 bedrooms, 2 baths...! Jeez, and with 5 acres! That sounds like heaven to me. |

Thanks. I've been considering a pedicure. The only thing that keeps me from going, besides being embarrassed, but that I have heard some horror stories about infection when they don't keep their equipment clean. |

I don't like my feet, I don't like foot massages, my feet are not in good condition. I have ten toes but I want to get rid of one when I'm older. |

I don't like or dislike my feet, but they probably need some help. The heels are dry and cracked (something new, maybe because I'm old now). The nail on my right foot's big toe has a tendency to be in-grown, so I've cut it back and it's kind of slanted. It's starting to hurt again, so I'll probably cut it back again soon. I should probably try to get it fixed, but the last time I tried the advice I got didn't really work. I also have a bump on the back of my left heel and it gets sore if I exercise, which is annoying. Putting moisturizer on it seems to help, but I've had it for months now. bleh |

I love looking at all homes -- photos, outside as I walk by 'em, on TV, or when I rarely get to go inside one. There's a walk here (free) where the group gets to tour a Victorian home that's furnished entirely in Victorian style. |

Got it -- it's well-prepared for hurricanes. Big too, and with a washer and dryer... Sigh... envy. Thanks! |

Those Victorian style homes are really cool and neat plenty of them here in Colorado , they remind me of the movies
that I watch on Turner Classic Movies last night yes light night a real good movie that had me in tears
this 1939 movie in black and white
I love those dresses they wore like the Southern women and the women in London England they wore these
dresses that were down to their ankles they looked like wedding dresses ? |

I could not get the link to work the other way around , but yes it is big and very spacious indeed , to big for my aging
parents to live in any longer being in their 70's and my parents they need something smaller to live in
Yes my mom and dad they will buy these homes that are all trashed out and fix them up and sell them ?
my mom and dad are still doing this but they are slowing down now because of their age
and they should slow down a little , my sister she is staying in this Assisted Living Center or some kind of Nursing
Home down there in Lake City and she used to have an apartment |

Save the toe! Please spare the pinky, pinky wants to live! You already have not an obscure trait, but a wonderful attribute, your eyes. So leave the toe alone. Your eyes have so much character that you do not need to sacrifice the pinky. |

Buying shoes is sometimes really hard for a guy like me with narrow feet. I wind up shopping in the city at certain stores that stock 9 1/2 A's, or buy online. My feet are in reasonably good condition, but I probably need to do foot exercises to strengthen my low arches. |
