In my backpack: Some bubble wrap (to help keep stuff dry), a small waterproof bag with string tie, a mirror, a bandaid, a plastic spoon, a hoodie in case it gets cold on today's hike. Right now it's nearly empty but it's often stuffed with grocery items and library materials. |

I have a lavender one for school, and there's currently a few coins, scraps of paper, pencils in there. My undone algebra homework and book are laying around and my sketches that I have to upload are next to me. |

I have many backpacks. One is pre-packed with my search and rescue gear. One is an old, external frame pack up in the attic with who knows what in it. Then there's a day pack that i mostly use as a carry on bag when I fly on airlines. |

Have an awesome army green canvas one but I'm not using it right now and I'm pretty sure it's empty. I use it in warmer weather when I walk the dogs. Carry their stuff and mine in it. |

It's empty and in the closet. It isn't technically mine. My mother sent me home with some food a few years ago. I never got around to returning it. |

I have a rucksack. As far as I can recall it currently contains: coins (a few pounds), a histology textbook, a gastro-intestinal physiology textbook, lots of revision notes, a pad of A4 lined paper, a water bottle, some dry-wipe markers, a lunch-box (empty), an umbrella, sanitary towels, notebooks for lecture notes, an academic diary, pens, and a rape alarm. |

Now:
The remains of my notepad.
There's some dialogue from a special edition of Transmetropolitan written on one piece of paper, and a very scary/funny sign in a window I copied down: 'Feel like a nobody in your role? Nobody is perfect. Therefore you must be perfect.' I am so saving that.
Another piece of paper has notes from All That Fall written on it, which I copied from...
The Cambridge Companion To Beckett (among other books) while I was in Manchester Central Library.
My new notepad.
WHSmith receipt for said notepad.
A Clockwork Orange (It's turned into a comfort thing.)
Sense and Sensibility I'm only reading it so I can watch the Ang-Lee film with Alan Rickman in. I like Emma Thompson too, but not that way.
My passport (which isn't idenification enough for said Central Library because it doesn't have my address)
Umbrella
Mirror
Two pens
College card
Bus pass
Phone
One of those plastic tie things which came with the headphones for the web tablet
Tampon
