When I updated my OS, I think it turned that feature back on, and I've been too lazy to go turn it back off. Normally I don't like things that check spelling as I type, though.

Yes but I'm a good speller anyway. Most of the time I use the dictionary on WORD and sometimes the thesaurus.

Yes but sometimes I ignore it if I am in a hurry or feeling lazy.

My Outlook and Firefox have built in spell checkers, but I don't have a separate application dedicated to correcting my spelling.

thumbs down, pointing finger, arrows, or a boarded up house

So what causes all the extra "enter"s?

Is it a webtv? Or do you just click it a lot for fun?

I don't usually need very much help checking my spelling. I'm pretty compulsive about it.. What I miss, SC catches.... or I might google something to be sure if I'm not on SC... but I don't use this feature you are asking about.

What is this multiple choice?
No not a thumbs down, yes a pointing finger (left), no arrows, no boarded up house.

So lets think for a minute, why would I give you a thumbs down? I wouldn't!

But you did get pointing left (at what?) my icon. So what does a boarded up house got to do with me? Not a thing.

What could you associate with me that would make sense? I got it how about a black eight ball!

That is it! I was pointing at my icon meaning I'm an eight ball.

oh. I didn't look for what the second symbol was. There was something interesting everyone else was watching on tv. I didn't want to miss it.

Other. i don't know. I don't push buttons when I type, I hate to screw things up. I have seen the ABC up there before, but it isn't there now.
