Which ones aren't!
Cujo, 14 year old yorkie poo gets eye drops for dry eye; Heidi, 11 year old German Shepherd takes Rimadyl and Glucosamine/chondroitin supplement twice a day for osteoarthritis in her hips and back. She also takes Lasix twice a day for fluid in the lungs; Penny, 9 year old Min Pin takes thyroid med twice a day. Tempie gets Pepto on ocassion for upset tummy. Loki doesn't take anything. Neither do the cats or birds. The dogs and cats get flea, tic and heartworm prevention.

I had a bird on xanax once, but I skipped his dose and he freaked out and flew into the ceiling fan, very ugly!

although, there is a this huge tom that has adopted us, and a couple of weeks ago he was on my lap and i noticed a lump on the side of his head. well, within a couple of days, that lump had split open and was a nasty oozing wound. i doctored it to the best of my ability and wrapped medicine around his head etc etc...about a week of strangeness w/ him, but he is doing good and the wound looks even better

I have no pets currently, but I have had pets on medication in the past. I had a rat on anti-arthritis meds once - we used to grind the tablets up and mix them with jam - he loved that * smile *

Yes, my kitty. And she's not enjoying it one little bit! Have to give her antibiotics morning and night for the next few days ... provided I can catch/trap her.

You shoulda seen me this morning, on my tummy under the bed, hauling my poor kitty out ... * frown *

At least one usually is most of the time. I buy all my meds online and order a bunch at a time to stock up. I have a place that doesn't require a written prescription to buy meds for your pets.
