No, I usually just use it as backup. On the occasions when I've used something off of it, I transfer whatever it is to the desktop. |

I had to read your question twice; I read it initially as “Do you work one off while on your flash drive?” I thought about it and at first I I couldn’t make the connection, then all at once it struck me, of course I keep all my porn on a removable drive. Then I thought that is a weird question to ask someone so I am assuming I did it again and spoke before I discussed it with my brain. |

I don't work off of it. But, I really only use it to copy files to some other device (car, camera, game system), so that's what I do. |

Yes. All of my work is on the USB drive since sometimes I work at home. I have to keep reminding myself to back up the drive on the server at work in case I lose it or it dies. I'd be dead otherwise.

It is a portable "stick" drive that looks sorta like a cigarette lighter that you can work from and plug in any computer with a USB port. Mine has 2 gb storage. It works just like any other hard drive or cd drive. I do all my office work on it and can take my work anywhere and work with it.
They're pretty cool and they have a lanyard cord attached so you can wear it around your neck to keep from losing it. They're pretty cheap too, I think usually around $25.00.
Some people use them for back-up and some like me work almost exclusvely on them.

I bring the files to my computer, in a folder and then work with it. Then I clean up the flash drive. |
