Chewing gum!

I'll be the first to admit it...um....I swallow my gum sometimes.

Chewing gum is gross. I like to think that, if people knew how stupid they looked chewing gum, they would stop.

I like to think that, if people knew how much their chewing made me want to kill them, they would go away and chew their gum somewhere else.

I find gum chewing almost repugnant.

I see others who chaw on gum constantly even during conversation...rude and low class.

Chewing gum is for children.

The only exception is a stick of gum to quickly freshen breath that is disposed of within minutes.
I do not chew gum in public ...it is crass

I see people who make judgments about other people because of something as small as chewing gum rude and low class.

um...i rarely chew gum...and when i do..my jaws get tired quickly

mandy, its nice to find something that is 'almost repugnant' to you. Are there any other 'things' you find 'almost repugnant?'. I realize I'm asking for it but I did say 'things' not people.

My pet hate is the habit of gum chewers spitting their gum onto the payment. It stays there for ever. Its seems to be unwearable. Pity we can't pave roads with it.

jen - Good point. I see nothing wrong with chewing gum as long as one uses good manners. Some people are really disgusting with it.

I always swallow my gum; I wasn't sure if this counted as an "appropriate manner" or not.

I sneak into Gillette so that I can stick my used gum under their nice conference room table.
Have you even thought about gum? Gum is so beautiful.

I mainly chew it on airplanes, to keep my ears from popping.

Since I get so easily hooked on caffeine, I chew gum to stay awake sometimes.

I chew gum, but I'm not supposed to. I have TMJ and it makes my jaw lock up or get stiff.

I am not a descendant from the founding fathers of
chewing-gum. Therefore I smoke instead (more pipe
than cigarets)and use sniff-tobacco in the morning
and evening (mostly in the bathroom) as a sort of
cleaning off negative mesmeric charges.
