How is volunteering time a contribution to Earth?
I use public transport, but not out of choice. I conserve energy, but only because I prefer to sit with one light on instead of three. I REALLY hate how people have started being 'green' just because the big corporations have started to. When it was only on the news, nobody but the geeks gave a damn. It was just, 'Umm... I turn off the TV when I leave the room...' And now it's turned into showing off. Dumb fad. |

I recycle, use public transportation (although not by choice), conserve energy, and conserve water. |

To the natural world as opposed to humanity? Very little I should think - recycling, composting, using public transportation...those things are all damage limitation, not "contributions". |

Depends on what you mean by contributions.
My four children, six grandchildren, all good people. Whenever you can touch another person's life in a positive way. I try to conserve, I'm frugal. |

A few ways, here and there. Some recycling, avoiding driving when I don't have to, just typical stuff.
My favorite way to contribute to humanity is to show them how not all people who are 'out of the ordinary' or 'acting unpredicably' are dangerous. I hope to alleviate irrational fears, one 'noider at a time. |

I take care of cats. what? That's important. On a serious note though as far as contributing, I want to get my tubes tied & be done with it. But, I've been told I'm too young & you haft to have a least 2 or 3 kids. Which I think is fudgeed up. I dont want children & I think this worlds to fudgein evil & over populated to drag them into it. |

We use the recycle can alot with all the aluminum cat food cans, paper, etc. My wife also is a fighter for having fireplaces banned here because they are a big health hazard. Current estimate is California will ban all fireplace burning within two years.
There is no public transportation around here, we don't make any attempt to save household energy or water. I drive slower these days trying to save gas because of the high prices only since both my vehicles only get 20 mph even on the highway. Otherwise I'd still be going 80+ like everyone else on the road. |

Good one. My wife all the time wonders how people can bring more children into this awful world we're living in with dim hope of it ever being better.

Used to be I would recycle and now that this state of Colorado has made recycling impossible and very hard and
difficult for anybody that wishes to recycle
Our places to recycle have been taken away from us so screw Colorado I just throw away my plastic bottles
and cans newspaper and magazines as well go right into the trash hell with them and cans and aluminum
cans as well get tossed away in the trash |
