Have you ever been in a giant maze?

Mazes have been built with walls and rooms, with hedges, turf, or with paving stones of contrasting colors or designs, or in fields of crops such as corn or, indeed, maize. Maize mazes can be very large; they are usually only kept for one growing season, so they can be different every year, and are promoted as seasonal tourist attractions. Players enter at one spot, and exit at another, or the idea may be to reach a certain spot in the maze.

Yes, I've been to a few corn mazes. It used to be more of a regular thing, but not so much anymore.

Yep, we have quite a few corn mazes just outside the city. I usually go every 2 or 3 years.

Just one corn maze, right after a drought.

Yeah. When I was about 7 or so, we went to one in Florida (Panama City, I think). It was fun, but I sucked at it. I vaguely remember kinda freaking out because I was lost inside it. My mom finally came to rescue me.

There's one in Vidalia, La. that Caleb's been wanting to go to. It's in a corn field. It looks pretty cool. Last time we were in the area, it wasn't open.

Small hedge mazes, yes, but not large corn ones. The thought of being lost in a large maze intimidates me.

No but I'd probably have a difficult time finding my way out, knowing me.

I think I'd go in a few feet, and have a giant panic attack.

I think I might have been in one when I was very young, and if memory serves me I was terrified.

A hedge maze in California, when I was a child.
