Grits for one. When we lived in Mississippi grits were common and you could buy Quaker Instant Grits in the grocery store.

Snowmobiles - no snow unless you want to drive to the mountains.

White Castle hamburgers - would love to have one here. You can buy them frozen in the store, but not the same..

Vienna hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches - miss them too. I think hot dogs are illegal in California unless they're made with turkey. *wink*

Ferrets - ferrets are illegal in Cali, piranhas too.

You can look this up on the internet to see what stores carry this in your area

Yes, which is why I value the Internet so I can order 'em online. For example, if I lived in Portugal, Brazil or maybe some of the East Coast states like Mass. and New Jersey, I could get more of the kind of music I like.

It was 75 degrees here today. Nice, but I wish we'd get snow once in a blue moon. *grin*

75 sounds kind of nice to run away from all this cold weather we are getting , and if lucky we do get indian summers
up here all of a sudden 50 deg outside the snow is melting away only to have it snow again
Wish I could send you the snow your way and just direct it in your direction
sometimes we get so much snow there is no place to put the snow any longer like what are we going to do??

Oh yeah, earlier this year when I was getting things for Minnesota, I needed a snow-shovel. I thought with all the people around here who have houses in Tahoe, I'd be able to find one somewhere, but there were none to be found.
