| ausfox | posted 20-Dec-2007 1:26am Yes. In fact I have porridge for breakfast a couple of times a week. Yum! |
| mrmarm | posted 20-Dec-2007 3:43am What exactly is porridge made from besides wheat and milk, or is that only it, does only one bite count? If so sort of. |
| kirst | posted 20-Dec-2007 6:17am Yes, I usually do. |
| Amanda | posted 20-Dec-2007 10:07am No. I've never eaten porridge period. I'm not even sure exactly what it is. |
| bill | posted 20-Dec-2007 10:41am I eat oatmeal sometimes, so yes.
I used to eat cream of wheat fairly often when I was a kid. |
| Otter | posted 20-Dec-2007 10:53am I've eaten partridge for breakfast, does that count? |
| Galomorro | posted 20-Dec-2007 11:31am Ah yes, one of my favorite foods is juk, a kind of Chinese rice porridge. It's called "porridge" often. Sometimes it has chicken and other stuff in it. Dee-LIShus, a kind of Chinese chicken soup for when you're not feeling well, or anytime. You can get this at dim sum places really cheap for a small container. |
| Iseult | posted 20-Dec-2007 11:49am Yes, few unfortunate times. There is few things I hate more than porridge. The taste alone is enough to make me gag. |
| RGirl | posted 20-Dec-2007 8:09pm Never, but I love oatmeal. Is that similar? |
| thecomic22 | posted 20-Dec-2007 9:05pm Uh, no unless I did & didint know it. I've ate oatmeal. Which I hate. Is that what that is?? |

| Enheduanna | posted 21-Dec-2007 12:43pm Yes. I think oatmeal technically counts, as do other hot, grain-based cereals. |
| cloudhugger | posted 21-Dec-2007 1:50pm A long time ago, I think we were in Kentucky at the time. I have no idea what it is. |
| Melf | It's pretty much oatmeal; hot oats or some other cereal in milk or water. Nutritious and tasteless without sugar or jam. |

I guess I have never eaten it if I don't know what is. My mind conjures up some form of slop, sticky and mushy, with no taste at all. |
