| darkshadowsseeker | posted 30-Nov-2007 2:47pm I have no idea. My consumption of soft drinks varies wildly, depending on the weather (hot vs cold) & it's been many years since I've been to a dentist (no insurance) so I couldn't even begin to guess about the cavities. |
| bill | posted 30-Nov-2007 2:55pm 1 soda per week
~4 fillings (I'm really not sure how many I have, I got most of them when I was a kid, 30 years ago). |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to bill) posted 30-Nov-2007 3:00pm That's the creepiest avatar I've seen in a long time. |
| bill | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 30-Nov-2007 3:23pm Thanks! |
| kcthedog | posted 30-Nov-2007 3:23pm I do not drink too much soda, mostly beer! But I do on occasion so I say in a week, four. I have a couple small cavities no big deal. I am conservative when it comes to sweets and soda is pretty sweet

| romkey | posted 30-Nov-2007 3:28pm I drink soda only a few times a year. |
| ausfox | posted 30-Nov-2007 4:01pm 0. I don't like it. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 30-Nov-2007 4:13pm Probably about 2 or 3 cans of diet soda a week and yes my teeth are falling apart and no dental insurance |
| Crayons | posted 30-Nov-2007 4:28pm Usually none except on occasion- no cavities. |
| Iseult | posted 30-Nov-2007 4:39pm 0.25 cans a week - 80% of time it's Diet Coke or Coke Zero. I haven't had a cavity in four years, but I have five fillings. |
| mrmarm | posted 30-Nov-2007 5:15pm I don't drink that stuff at all, I have a policy, as long as I'll work out and stay physical I can eat what ever I want but only drink good stuff, however I can hardly tolerant any junks food now - days. |
| Enheduanna | posted 30-Nov-2007 6:28pm 0 cans of soda, and I have somewhere around 8 or so cavities, I think (filled). |
| Amanda | posted 30-Nov-2007 6:35pm Doctors say I shouldn't drink pop, so I limit it to one (20 oz. bottle) a week. But, lately, I've been on a cream soda kick and have been drinking one every couple days. I've never had any cavities. |
| RainingFeathers | posted 30-Nov-2007 7:16pm I drink maybe 1 can of pop a month. I'm not really fond of the stuff.
I have 5 cavities, but I got them all by age 8 (I got away with not brushing my teeth when I was a kid). |
| Galomorro | posted 30-Nov-2007 7:27pm NO cans of pop whatsoever. No pop, period. No CANS of anything. I would not even buy a really healthy, delicious drink if it came in a can, much less those high-fructose laden drinks. I have always had lots of cavities. |

| RGirl | posted 30-Nov-2007 7:38pm I drink about 3 bottles of soda a day. 2 small bottles and 1 big one. Diet soda, which is just as bad as sugar soda, but I generally only drink it when I am eating which makes a difference. I have too many cavities for me to count. I am just prone to them and have receding gums from grinding my teeth at night and drying medicaitons. |
| cloudhugger | posted 1-Dec-2007 12:09am maybe one can per week, and I don't know how many cavities I have. I haven't had any for the past few years. |
| docgbrown | posted 1-Dec-2007 5:27am Roughly 4 cans a week and I have no cavities, caps, fillings or other dental work .
I still have all of my adult teeth, including wisdom teeth I would make a good horse. |
| they | posted 1-Dec-2007 8:16am Zero. I don't drink soda pop.
About every few months, I'll take a sip of Ben's MD. I haven't had any cavities for 10 years. |
| justjulie | posted 1-Dec-2007 8:25am no soda/pop/fizzy water for me...my teeth are a bit crappy, even though |
| jettles | posted 1-Dec-2007 9:15am 1 bottle maybe and no cavities. i'm trying to cut down on both!!! |
| thecomic22 | posted 1-Dec-2007 12:11pm More than I should. No cavities that I know of. |
| llamamama | posted 1-Dec-2007 12:24pm Oh wow..um...Well, this past week, I had 5..And that spans from last Saturday to yesterday. That's only because when I go out to eat, I usually drink two sodas. If I'm at home, I drink only one, if any. So, I had a soda yesterday at home, Thursday I had two, and Sunday I had two.
I'm not sure how many cavities I have. I think I have between 5-7. But I have teeth that are prone to such things. Thank you genetics. I get to get two fillings in March, yay. |
| LJD | posted 1-Dec-2007 1:52pm None. I drank soda years ago, now none. I have my teeth, but have had cavities in the past. |
| Biggles | posted 1-Dec-2007 2:36pm No cans of pop - one filling. |
| kirst | posted 1-Dec-2007 6:14pm Soda with sugar: none
Coke or Sprite Zero: 5-6 cans per week Cavities: Haven't had any new ones since I've been an adult. Have plenty of ones from my childhood---have started to get them replaced as they wear out. |
| Melf | posted 2-Dec-2007 9:47am About six cans. I have four fillings, but I got them when I was nine, and one is a result of naturally weak enamel. |
| evangaline | posted 2-Dec-2007 2:25pm I go through about a 12 pack in a week, but I have zero cavities. You can't get cavities in dentures. |
| dbarnes | posted 2-Dec-2007 6:19pm I don't drink 'pop'. HFCS is bad for your body. |

| Jody | posted 5-Dec-2007 12:09pm I have no cavities, though I have had several fillings in the past. I only drink artificially sweetened soda/pop. |
| flounderific | posted 10-Dec-2007 6:47pm Don't drink pop & I've had a lot of cavities in my life. Bad teeth run in the family. |
| moviesnob | posted 18-Dec-2007 12:59pm None. I used to drink 2-3 a day, but gave it up a while back. Now I just stick with water and juice.
And at my last dentist check-up (which was AFTER I gave up soda) I had 4 cavities. Never had a cavity in my life before that. |

Don't get your combination of pop and cavities. And the category isn't work/school.
