| Melf | posted 20-Nov-2007 5:34pm Like I said: Radiohead, and Roscoe by Midlake respectively. The former: they are a beautiful, intense band; the latter: it is such a peaceful song. |
| Galomorro | posted 20-Nov-2007 6:08pm Except for the "Why" at the end this was just asked in a survey still in "Active." I've already answered. |
| RGirl | posted 20-Nov-2007 6:43pm Sleater-Kinney band, Jumpers song. I like the band because for the 11 years they were together their music evolved as they grew older. I like their first stuff as much as their last stuff but they are so different and yet you can still identify the band as Sleater-Kinney. I like the song because it is beautiful sounding and if you don't pay attention to the words you won't even know how depressing it is. It's tricky, decieving in a way. It is about how it is possible to be hopeless even while you are surrounded by hope.

My Favorite song is probably: Moulin rouge, the remix I love the 18th century sexuality and burlesque theme. |

| docgbrown | posted 24-Nov-2007 1:33pm Danny Kaye, his record: Danny Kaye (Dena, 1964) and song, "Turn Around" later a.k.a. "Where Are You Going?" by Harry Belafonte and some other artists, due to the simple tune and reflective lyrics;
Where are you going, my little one, little one, Where are you going, my sonny, my own? Turn around and you’re two, turn around and you’re four, Turn around and you’re a young man going out of my door. Turn around, turn around, Turn around and you're a young man going out of my door. Where are you going, my little one, little one, Little sunsuits and petticoats, where have you gone? Turn around and you’re tiny, turn around and you’re grown, Turn around and you’re a young wife with babes of your own. Turn around, turn around, Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own. I often sing it to my kids as I lull them to sleep |
