I'm a puppet on a string for some unseen force that tortures me for kicks. Indeed the joke in on me but I'm not laughing.

For the first decade of my spiritual awakening, it was like either they (the realm of saints) all knew something I didn't, or I (an enligtened person amongst mortals) knew something they didn't. Fortunately I've met many people between worlds since then and realize it's neither so black and white nor so significant.

Beautiful blurb you have on your SC bio.

Yes. Armando Iannucci questions this in the first of his shows. He finds out that people in pubs watching the football are hooked up to others telling them what to say, that mechanics find out the problem with a car as it's written on a big sign on the bottom, and so on.

The big inside joke isn't that funny because the writers are on strike.

I have most definitely felt this way. Usually when I am depressed or like the whole thing with my brother and his suicide. Things surrounding it, the timing was just weird.

Yeah, but they've been on strike for a hell of a lot longer than Hollywood's writers.

Yes, Yes, and Yes!

I have felt like a dummy that a comedian uses on stage to perform jokes, I have no control over what I say and I always end up on the bad side of the joke. Everybody is laughing at me and all I can do is stare blankly back at them knowing I got some dudes hand up my butt!
