| RGirl | posted 14-Nov-2007 7:07pm Yes, and here is a perfect example. My aunt went looking for her husband and caught him with another woman. She went to their home and proceeded to give away as many of his belongings as she could to neighbors, burned the rest in the drive way. Because she was the one with a job all the utilities were in her name. She had them all turned off, packed up and moved away with the washer and dryer. |
| southernyankee | posted 14-Nov-2007 8:12pm No, unless she's someone who belongs in jail/mental institutions. In today's society there's this thing called a retraining order. Just because a playwright or an observational comedian said something doesn't make it words of wisdom. |
| LindaH | posted 14-Nov-2007 8:23pm No. There's not much difference in the number of women vs number of men that react like that. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 14-Nov-2007 8:29pm i think this is good and I love this |
| Amanda | posted 14-Nov-2007 9:44pm Yeah. Women can be pretty vengeful. |
| cloudhugger | posted 14-Nov-2007 9:49pm It could be. I've seen this time and time again on soap operas. Real life...mmm...maybe, not really in my witness. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to RGirl) posted 14-Nov-2007 9:53pm My Mary told me a story of a crazy aunt of hers that had a no good lying cheating skunk of a husband. I think she caught him fooling around and took action. She made him a tuna fish sandwich and left it on the top of the car all day in the blazing summer sun. than the next day she served it to him. It almost killed him and put him in the hopital. I think she confessed she did it to kill him, and everyone knew the guy had it coming to him so the police told her to leave town and never come back. This was maybe ten years ago. |
| CarolL | posted 14-Nov-2007 9:59pm I have some hot sauce called Scorned Woman! The tag line is "Don't get mad...get even!" |

| Enheduanna | posted 15-Nov-2007 1:14am Not really. I think men and women can both get emotionally unbalanced over rejection. And I don't believe in hell. |
| Melf | posted 15-Nov-2007 4:37am No. |
| they | posted 15-Nov-2007 8:31am Women can be crazy. |
| romkey | posted 15-Nov-2007 8:48am No... there are several problems with it... first, Hell being a fictional place... second, inaccurate over-generalization ...
It sounds good, though. It's important not to confuse things as being accurate because they sound good. |
| autumnlight | posted 15-Nov-2007 10:39am Yes, God help any man who pisses me off. |
| thecomic22 | posted 15-Nov-2007 12:58pm Yea I agree. |
| RGirl | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 15-Nov-2007 3:01pm Oooo that's is definitely the act of a woman scorned. |
| Jody | posted 15-Nov-2007 4:07pm Scorned men are pretty darned furious, too. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to RGirl) posted 15-Nov-2007 6:35pm Sometimes scorned can really bring out the character in a woman. |
| Crayons | posted 15-Nov-2007 7:47pm I can't wait to be a full-fledged woman. Then, I'll be a great example. Unless I get to marry someone very calm, that might do something to my disposition a little bit. |
| mrmarm | posted 15-Nov-2007 11:39pm No, not completely, not even with every woman either. |
| cabinfever | posted 18-Nov-2007 10:08pm Yeah, but I think it should be revised for the present times: 'Hell doesn't have crap to compare to the psychosis of a dumped woman'. |
| Nicknack | posted 19-Nov-2007 11:18am women can take forever letting something drop and always want the last word! And this is coming from a woman! |
| labjog | (reply to cabinfever) posted 19-Nov-2007 12:00pm > Yeah, but I think it should be revised for the present times: 'Hell
> doesn't have crap to compare to the psychosis of a dumped woman'. > Or one who's child has been harmed! Then we will talk physco dog. |
| RGirl | (reply to labjog) posted 19-Nov-2007 7:06pm I was trying to come up with a saying for that, like, 'There is nothing scarier than a mother protecting her young.' |
| cabinfever | (reply to labjog) posted 20-Nov-2007 12:57am Yeah, baby! You know it. |
| kcthedog | posted 24-Nov-2007 9:50pm I have a problem comparing a woman to hell; in my opinion a woman is more angelic than hellacious. It is true evoking the wrath of a woman will get you into hell, but hell is hell, women are angels |
| Iseult | posted 27-Nov-2007 5:49pm See, that's a generalization. Not every woman goes Medea on your ass when you piss her off. |
| RGirl | (reply to Iseult) posted 1-Dec-2007 9:48pm "Medea on your ass" I love that phrase! |
| Iseult | (reply to RGirl) posted 2-Dec-2007 5:54pm |
| Biggles | posted 12-Jan-2008 4:21pm Well yes, since Hell does not exist, it cannot be a match for a scorned woman... |
