Other. Worry is a useless act of nothing. Being concerned, truly concerned is the start of doing something about this. It is real, it is no joke. The downfall of the bee population is the next step towards the death of the planet.

Oh noes. I just realized i drowned a few bees last week. There was one dead one floating in a little bit of Listerine in the bottle. It was already outside and thrown in the recycle bin. Two lives ones were in there and I drowned them too because I got freaked out.

Hasn't there been talk about this for a couple years now? I don't really worry about such things.

Not really, since bees were artificially bread and brought to the US by the colonists.

What kind of produce was available before the colonists? I don't think corn needs bees, but what else was here?

Yes, a little. Although from what I understand, it is only affecting one kind of bee, and there are lots of other kinds that are fine. I hope they'll continue to be fine. But in general, it doesn't seem like a good thing, and it will definitely make fruit prices go up and probably hurt some farmers as well.

Not at all, in the slightest, tiniest way. There are so many foods out there that don't require bee pollination, that I think reducing our consumption of bee dependent food would sustain us.

I think there will always be enough bees, even if most of them are gone. I think the whole colony collapse thing is given way more fear-mongering attention than it deserves. It's an important concern, but it's not going to be the end of our food source.

I think I read somewhere that they think the collapse is caused by some virus. I'm really not up to date on the issue. I don't worry about it, but it crosses my mind occasionally.

Oh come on now! You are pulling my leg! I have never heard of a “snike”, I have heard of a “snork” though. They look nothing like a snake! They are generally friendly, but watch out for “Bigweed” he can be nasty! I have often been compared to “Grandpa Wetworth”
