Christmas for us will be cheaper than usual because of one issue after another, but I really want to get my son an ipod or mp3 player and I know absolutely nothing about them. I'm always busy and behind the times technology wise. Anyway, he is really into gadgets, storing info on files, being organised via the puter, playing games, watching videos and/or movies and he's starting to use interactive CDs on his computer to practice playing his trumpet. I really don't know what thats all about... just that I walked in saying something and he said "You can't make noise while I'm doing this!" Anyway... I was wondering what sort of gadget (doesn't have to involve everything he is into) that he would really like, that is faily inexpensive. He doesn't really have any favorite popular musicians or anything, just likes music in general right now. He listens to a lot of classical because of music classes. He likes stuff I like though. I rambled... just needing some help.

llamamama	(reply to Lahdee) posted 11-Nov-2007 2:00pm   I have a Sansa c150 that my parents got for me awhile ago..It's cheaper than an iPod, Amazon said it was $44.90, or something like that...(the screen froze, ugh)..it's also 2GB, so it holds about half as much as my iPod does, but trust me, 2 GB is alot. So yeah.. MP3 Player

Galomorro	(reply to cloudhugger) posted 12-Nov-2007 12:24pm   No, just copied and pasted from the iTunes song list under "iPod" -- meaning the list of all the songs actually on my iPod. Under "Music" is a LOT more. In doing this I found two duplicates and have since added a couple more from the main "Music" category. iTunes puts them into any kind of category you want -- so you can categorize the songs by genre, artist, etc.
