| Kristal_Rose | posted 7-Nov-2007 12:00am I'll write all this myself and a few othr things as well, except for the wysiwyg html editor and paying for web hosting.
What I'd really like is a way of encapsulating all my various doc/media formats, database pointers, reminders, etc etc in an xml based wrapper so I could congregate and format all my related resources depending upon project or instantly queried contexts. As is, I think my only solution is to ditch all my other formats and just migrate all my data directly to xml. Why, looking for worthy development projects, or just remarketing? Anyhow, your list is missing the most obvious thing, a customizable online shopping-cart data base that handles inventory, service scheduling, and accounting in a single package. A good database-driven search engine which tracks competitor activity and resource costs would be good too. If you have an intranet forum, one with a whiteboard for project collaboration would be better. Sounds to me though that you're just interested in offering buzzwords, not advancing internet business technology. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 7-Nov-2007 1:36am That's too bad. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 7-Nov-2007 2:28am Yeah, and unfortunately, it's all too common of an occurence. |

| LizELECTRIC | posted 19-Jan-2009 4:48am my boyfriend owns his own business and most is done online. he specializes in selling parts from 3000 gt's and stealths. thats it. we drive all over the country to get them and he parts them and sell them. He is the only person in the US to do this exact line of work bc the other guy was kicked off of ebay.. he needs a program to keep track of the invoices. a program to list the parts. a digital camera so he can post the pictures. his father is currently helping him build his own website ( other than e bay). pay pal accounts. tracking programs for shipping.... and a whole lot of other things that i dont know about lol. he is only 23 and has been doing this for only 4 years but wow......... he is so smart. I better be making as much as him when I'm 23 hahaha. |
