It's a long sleeve t-shirt that my fiance's mom sent me. It's white with a pink heart and says 'Ralph's Girl' in a really cool font.

My most recent favorite is a hoodie overshirt I bought at the Bernal Heights Street Fair last month. It's soft and fleecy and in a gray color that I think looks good on me. It has the particular logo creation of the street fair artist, and says "Bernal Heights" in larger letters and "San Francisco" in smaller letters, and various colors in the logo design. It was $22.

I wear a Vermont State Police ball cap most of the time. I'm not sure it's my favourite article of clothing, but it serves the purpose.

It's more an outfit I wear whenever I'm home alone; imagine a navy blue polo shirt with purple stripes on it, black short shorts beneath that and these kick ass black boots I like to wear. Or to more adequately answer the question probably my 'Mr Grumpy' shirt.

Also... all of my socks.

It's a long sleeve blouse made of linen & silk. It's a lovely shade of green. I always get compliments when I wear it. I got it at a garage sale a few years ago for a $1.

 * laughing out loud * That guy didn't last long.

I'm with this guy, Ralph. We haven't known each other all that long, but we totally connect. Both fell very quickly. It just felt right. He's in prison.....so that makes it complicated...not to mention hard for a lot of people to understand. But, I decided to say the hell with what people think. I'm doing what's right for me. Anyhow......we're getting married next year....probably November.

It's a hoodie. It's green and I've had it for two years. It's quite light, and it has a hole in the sleeve where I used to chew it, and the front pocket is all falling off, but it's really comfortable. I have days when I will snuggle up inside my hoodie and read and drink cocoa all day. Steven's wearing it at the moment and talking to me. It needs a wash.

I also like this scarf my grandma made for me.

Moving violations... You should have seen this weird driver the other day. There was hardly any traffic, yet he was abruptly changing lanes as if he was weaving around cars. Sped through the 'suicide lane,' changed his mind at the intersection, cut off a car in the left lane. So this car he cut off moves over to the right lane, just in front of me. Weird driver zips in front of him again, eliciting much horn honking, and then turns left at a weird angle and across the left lane and 2 lanes of opposing traffic. Thankfully he was off the main road and in a lonely auction lot at that point. Whoof! Maybe he should auction off his car. He obviously didn't know how to use it. * poker face *

You should try driving 140,000 miles a year. Just when I think I've seen everything, something new comes along. From my vantage point I've seen some weird things, especially around the Boston area, probable the world's worst drivers. Bumper to bumper traffic, going into Boston at 50 or 60 miles an hour and the woman next to me is changing her pantyhose while driving. It's a never ending battle of morons out here. BTW Happy Birthday Linda.

How long will he be in prison?
Amanda
(reply to RGirl) posted 4-Nov-2007 9:17pm
We're not sure. He's got a post conviction hearing and a sentence reduction coming up the early part of the year. He's got an excellent lawyer working on the case, so we're pretty hopeful that his sentence will be drastically reduced. It also helps he'd never been in any trouble before this and was with some people who were known trouble makers. He hasn't had any RVRs since he's been locked up. He's also working on continuing his education and takes advantage of a lot of the extras they offer. He's also got a lot of community support.....police officers, pastors, probation officers, teachers, etc. So, we'll see what happens.

I way over-wear it when you consider the cash I paid for this thing, but, I figure I'm getting my money's worth out of it.

So you knew him before he went in? What is he accused of doing?

You don't have to answer that - they are nosy questions.

No, I didn't know him before.

He's in for armed robbery. He was 18 and with some people. They started talking about doing stuff and things got out of hand. They ended up getting a whole $86! It'd be kind of funny, if things like that could be funny.

Kids can be so stupid. My good friend Joe had a similar experience... but wasn't in jail for more than two years or so. He also was 18, with a group of kids younger than him... they were being stupid, and broke into an old greenhouse. They stole a few stupid things... and got caught. He ended up getting the brunt of the punishment because he was the adult. That conviction is still following him around... and he's paranoid as hell about going back... He's 36 now.
Amanda
(reply to they) posted 7-Nov-2007 9:21pm
The other people with him were 16 and 17. Ralph and the girl got 12 years and the other guy got 15. But, it's looking good he'll get out way before that.

It'll be 3 years in February. He was out on bond for a year before going to court....so it happened 4 years ago. We actually met through Caleb's "sperm donor". He'd let Patrick use his phone to call me. I doged him out for letting him call me. He started trying to calm me down. We started talking a lot. We spend anywhere from 4-10 hours a day on the phone....depending on the shift that's on.
