I love the rain! I was walking in the rain and i was soaked, and I walked past the local restaurant, and a turkey-necked old lady stared at me like i was crazy when i passed by. What, is it freakish to grin in the rain? |

FoxTurtle wonders if rain in Africa is considered a bad omen, so... |
| ultamate |
No I love the rain. I do however think when it rains during a funeral it's because the angels are crying.....not sure if it's because the person is in heaven or hell though. |

No. Rain has a cleansing effect, it washes away the old to make things anew. |

No, beyond the obvious omen that I might get wet. |

No, not at all. I also LOVE rain. |

I'd have to believe in omens first. That's kind of a stretch... |

No often the opposite same with storm, lighting and hail. |
| RGirl |
Of course not. I live in a rural community, most of the time rain is a good omen. I also find it cleansing, for outside and my 'soul'. Very relaxing. |

Rain on the wedding day, tears in the marriage...or however the saying goes. But, no, I don't buy into that. |

No. I like rain. |

Nope... it poured buckets on my sister's outdoor wedding, and she is still married to the same guy and they have four copies.
Where I am from, rain is good 99% of the time, since it rains only a few inches a year. |

I used to live in a metal-roofed house, and rain always sounded good.
Back when the SO and I got together, we were about to go to bed when a cloudburst happened... I opened the window a few inches and the sound of the pouring rain, the thunder, and the smell of the dry earth becoming damp really revved me up for some reason... I jumped him and literally had my way with him.... the only time I've done that. Must have been the intense fury of the very short storm. |

No. I like the rain and would probably be ok if it rained on my wedding day. |
