I'd use my sock. |

 Busted.
There is a very good chance I'd use the sock. The floors get swept and mopped every 3-4 days anyway.
Depends on the morning. |

I would grab a paper towel or a rag and clean the coffee up. |
bill | | posted 1-Nov-2007 10:35am |
I clean spills like that with a paper towel or possibly a tissue, almost any liquid (even water)... but, I don't usually clean crumbs. In fact, I'll sweap crumbs onto the floor in order to "clean" a counter. |

My sock. Much more efficient. |

Same here. I sweep all kinda of stuff on the floor to clean spaces. Bigger stuff = more fun. |

This has happened, and I did use my sock. Then I turned it over so I wouldn't have to walk on a wet sock. Heck, I was showering soon anyways. |

I don't drink coffee. |

one of our cats likes to do this too, usually with my dental floss |
| kirst |
I would most likely use a paper towel or sponge or cloth towel. |

I'd make sure nobody saw me and use my sock. Oh, but what if I burn my toe? |

Clean it up lazy bones! |

Coffee? Clean it up? How out of character of me to consider. |

Black socks? What do I look like, a tourist? Do the socks have garters to hold them up halfway up the calf? I wouldn't use my sock even if it was coffee colored. Than it would have a wet spot...eww.
A few drops? I'd leave it, otherwise it would be the only clean spot on the floor. More than like half a cup, I would wipe it with a rag along with the tears of losing half a cup next to it. |

I would totally use my sock for such a small amount. If there were more, I would get a sponge, though.
I don't drink coffee in the mornings, so this isn't an issue for me. If I drip water, I usually leave it. If I drip a little tea on the stove when I take the bag out, I usually leave that, too, unless I just cleaned the stove and want it to stay spotless. My SO, on the other hand, drinks coffee in the morning, and there is always a little collection of dried coffee-splashes on the floor around the coffee-maker. |
cerealkiller | | posted 2-Nov-2007 12:57pm |
Leave it. It would just compliment the hairballs and bile that the cats puke up on the floor. |

IF I drank coffee, and spilled it....I'd use a paper towel. I don't drink coffee, never did. |

I'd use a paper towel to clean it up. |

if you burn your toe you can always go to the Emergency Room and call 911 |

Yes it'll excuse me from school that day and there won't be coffee on the floor! It's a win-win situation! |
lily333 | | posted 3-Nov-2007 10:09pm |
It depends on how much actually spilled |
| Nitroeddy |
I can't stand spots around the house! I clean up any spills immediately! |

A very good excuse to stay home from school hey teacher see my burnt toe |

Also a good one for not having homework in. I could elaborate the whole story for the whole class. "I pain was excruciating! I couldn't feel anything from the neck down! I passed out, and next thing I knew I was being force-fed rice pudding through a funnel!" |

The sock. I'm terrible. |
| judgescratch | | (reply to moviesnob) posted 8-Nov-2007 11:13am |
14 out of 33 answered like you did (myself included)...not so terrible. |
LindaH |
It's not terrible at all. It's efficient. We just don't mind having a little coffee on the bottom of our socks. Seems kind of relaxed and easy to me. |

I don't drink coffee, but I'd use a big wad of paper towels to clean up water, juice or milk. |
dbarnes |
I'd use a paper towel or rag, but not my socks. They're all white & they would end up with coffee stains on them. |
