I don't know. I've never worked anywhere that had music playing while I was working.

Yes. That's why I hate offices like where I work. It's like a library - no music, limited conversations, mostly the sound of computer keyboard strokes is all..................

Music acts as a stimulant to work for me, but it has to be new music, which is to say music I've never heard before, or not for a long time, and it has to be exciting music. Once stimulated, however, I prefer to work in silence. Music interferes with my concentration.

I work better with music 'cause it helps me not to day dream so much which slows me down. If however I need to think, music is bad.

I did my Algebra II while listening to Salt N Peppa. Rap is excellent for math.

Usually I have a long on-going answer , not this time. SURVEY SAYS: yes, music helps me work and think.

No, unless it is very quiet classical or jazz, I find it too distracting.

Absolutely. It helps me focus, and helps screen out noise in the adjacent cubicles.

No, not listening to it. but I work better with music in the background that I don't feel compelled to listen to, like a white noise type of thing. than I don't feel so alone and my mind cannot wander to thoughts uncondusive to the task at hand.

Is the guy running up the hill away from something scary? Or is the hill falling away from him, thus explaining the scary in his expression?

I'm not sure... but, here's a larger version of it:

Really, I think the guy is not moving at all, just getting reversed while the background moves.

It has at some periods of my life. It depends on if I channel or not. Usually I'm just to engrossed to think about music these days.

But then lately music has been my work, so I'd have to say it helps a great deal.

That's it! I could hear his voice...talking to me...but his name...he's got.. a great ...voice. I'd a lost a bet because I couldn't think of his name. He is on my list of all time favorites. But if that was a survey, I couldn't cough up that name.

Captain Koons (played by Christopher Walken): The way your dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any slopes gonna put their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright, so he hid it, in the one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years, he wore this watch up his ass. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the watch. I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the watch to you.
