| llamamama | posted 20-Oct-2007 2:33pm I wouldn't really care. 5 degrees isn't that much. We'd never get snow though. |
| Lahdee | posted 20-Oct-2007 2:44pm It's already way too hot here. (Louisiana) I'd rather have the average temp lower. |
| Lilyellowduck_e | posted 20-Oct-2007 3:04pm Im from Wisconsin originally (anybody thats lived there or been there knows how that is) , And Ive lived in the south , and all over pretty much so im used to really drastic and non-drastic temp changes. wouldnt bug me. |
| romkey | posted 20-Oct-2007 3:17pm If that happened without any other changes, I'd be very happy about it. Unfortunately, that happening will probably cause maple trees to die back and other undesirable changes. |
| dab | posted 20-Oct-2007 3:18pm If it was a sudden change, over a few years, that'd be bad. If it was just warmer and always had been, I can see good and bad. It also depends on the pattern. If the average was higher because the lows in the winter weren't quite so low, I could live with that. If it was because the summers were hotter, I'd be moving north. |
| Crayons | posted 20-Oct-2007 3:44pm Well, i wouldn't care much but I'd be worried that it would continue to get warmer. I'm not sure if i would notice only 5 degrees, I might. |
| Alleycat | posted 20-Oct-2007 3:47pm Maybe less snow. I hate winter, yet live in the Northeast. Not my choice. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 20-Oct-2007 3:55pm I would not care either way and it does not matter if it is a little bit warmer up here |
| JessicaWoman99 | (reply to Alleycat) posted 20-Oct-2007 3:59pm > Maybe less snow. I hate winter, yet live in the Northeast. Not my choice.
I love the winters up here in the mountains of Colorado so pretty |
| Enheduanna | posted 20-Oct-2007 5:16pm I would love it; it would be perfect. As it is, it's usually a little chilly here. |
| kirst | posted 20-Oct-2007 5:40pm I wouldn't like it, but I'd deal. It's already pretty hot (and extremely humid) here in Hong Kong most of the year. The better weather is just beginning, though. It's been under 30 degrees C for the last couple of days! |
| Galomorro | posted 20-Oct-2007 6:36pm I'd rather have it 5 degrees warmer in winter than 5 degrees warmer in our warmer months, but I guess I could stand 5 degrees warmer all year round. Except I feel it's really hot when it gets over 65 degrees. |
| ausfox | posted 20-Oct-2007 6:55pm I would love it |
| Otter | posted 20-Oct-2007 7:52pm That would be great in the winter, not so great in the summer, but on average, I'd take it. |
| RGirl | posted 20-Oct-2007 8:47pm I would detest it. It's already too hot in the summer. |
| southernyankee | posted 20-Oct-2007 8:52pm That would suck. |
| jettles | posted 20-Oct-2007 11:22pm i wouldn't hate or love it. i live in florida and 5 degrees warmer would make me stay in the AC more during the summer and less heat in winter. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 20-Oct-2007 11:41pm I would dislike it, particularly in the summer months. |
| mrmarm | posted 21-Oct-2007 1:02am It's not really a matter of opinion for me more a matter of whether or not I'd actually notice. |
| Biggles | posted 21-Oct-2007 8:21am It would be okay in the winter (in terms of how I feel - it would be horrible for the environment) because I get so cold, but it would be horrid in the summer because I would be too hot. |
| Iseult | posted 21-Oct-2007 12:08pm I wouldn't mind it in the winter.
In the summer, however, I would hate it. I already despise the summer greatly because it's so warm and humid |
| Amanda | posted 21-Oct-2007 2:36pm I would really hate it. It's already hot enough here during summer and our winters are very short. It's the middle of October and, during the day, we're still running the a/c. |
| FauxLo | posted 22-Oct-2007 4:35pm FoxTurtle thinks his ecosystem would fall apart, so... |
| cloudhugger | posted 23-Oct-2007 9:52am Other. I do care, I couldn't say I would like it, love it, or dislike it, and definately cannot say I would hate it. I would be somewhat indifferent to it, in fact, I most likely wouldn't notice. |
| LindaH | posted 23-Oct-2007 1:02pm I would love it! Especially in winter. |
| cerealkiller | posted 23-Oct-2007 1:51pm Overall I'd probably dislike it. In the summer it's already 90-95 degrees every day and don't need it hotter. Winter is mid-50's which is perfectly fine.
I'd actually prefer it if the average temp dropped 5 degrees. |
| docgbrown | posted 25-Oct-2007 9:45pm I already live in a desert. That would just make the hottest season more like Iraq |
