Nope but I might would if I really wanted to see something and had no one to go with.

Yeah. Last time I was in a theater was in 1999. I went alone that time. Think I did too the time previous to that in 1982. As you can see I don't give a hoot about going into a movie theater.

Yes. I actually went one by myself this past Friday night (the boyfriend was playing poker). I used to go quite a bit as I would see movies others didn't care to see, and when I lived in Jackson, as I had no friends there.

Oh yes, many times. I used to do this alot, it was a passion of mine, but eventually I found the experience totally depressing and dispiriting. I have barely been to the cinema since; in fact, I far prefer watching movies at home via DVD or video.

No I haven't. I don't like seeing movies in the theatre because I have trouble sitting still for longer than half an hour; by the end of a movie I'm pretty much jumping around in my seat. The only times I'll go to a movie is if someone else really wants me to go with them.

Yes, I did, and never again. It was the epitome of lonliness for me. My dad did it all the time. I would love to go to the movies, but by myself makes me very sad.

Yes, I hate it when the host or hostess says very loudly "ONE!?" And than just in case the patrons on the other end of the restaurant didn't hear it, they promptly remove any evidence of any company coming off and away from the table in a very animated and aggresive act. Just to be sure you are not confused with someone else that may be waiting for someone.

I've really almost never done it, so I haven't really had that experience. It sounds dreadful, though. I think my problem would be that I wouldn't know where to look and what to do in between bites of my food. I think I'd probably eat my food a lot faster too. I guess people who are alone will often bring something to occupy themselves, a book or a laptop. I think I saw some recommendation in a self-help book about going out to eat by yourself, to build self confidence.

Yes, once or twice. I'm not opposed to it, but I'd rather go with someone. I do watch movies by myself at home all the time, though.

I believe that might help, but than for some would be the isues of throwing perfectly good money away on a rotten experience. I have taken any kind of important reading material, not like a newspaper or book, but something that looks like it is imperitive that I read it and the meal just got in the way. That makes me reak of self confidence.

Basically I am alone far more than neccesary, and to be surrounded by people having fun together is kinda sad to me.

I once went to a movie and not only did I go alone, I was the only person in the theater. The projectionist asked if I might like to come back another night.

I went there with two teens too young to see an R movie. So they got tickets for some animated kid movie, and I got a ticket for Dead Pool. They tried sneaking over to the Dead Pool screen, but got caught. So I watched it alone.
