When I was a kid living at home with my parents, between 9-12 were my most carefree/happy years.

Other than right now, I would say when I was about 35 years old. I was renting a house, I had a coonhound 'Beauregard' and I worked midnights. I was on 2 different softball teams and I was drunk most of the time, but I was happy dammit. This lasted a bit less than 1 year.

It could be around now, because I'm graduating high school soon, I have some good friends and all the rest but sometimes the bad in the short term can be more distracting them the good. I just have to remember it's all good.

When I was a kid. No worries. No stresses. Everything was taken care of for me. My biggest problem was deciding which toy to play with or which friend's house to go to. I only wish I had enjoyed it more while it lasted.

When my dad was alive and my mom never tried to contact me, I had no kids and my sons father was not in my life. Sounds mean but I was pretty happy for that short time. I still love my son.

I find this a very difficult question to answer, because happiness is my natural state. I can pinpoint events that have made me unhappy quite easily, but to choose times that have been somehow more happy than the general background happiness...that's pretty tough. Most of the times that I have felt so happy that I could have cried have, on a superficial level, been about personal achievement - passing exams, getting into university and most recently, getting into medical school. But those moments are really more about learning that my hard work has paid off, and knowing that I can progress towards my hopes and ambitions for the future.
