No, I've never heard neighbors arguing. When I lived in a first floor apartment, I could hear them having sex frequently. Now I live on the second floor of a duplex, and I just hear our neighbor's TV sometimes.

Yep!
Well, it's not like I get all comfortable with a a bag of pop corn & a drink then prop myself by the open window & listen to the whole fiasco. Okay I do that. It's kinda a form of entertainment for me when they do.*smile*

shudders Gawd! I hope our neighbors couldn't hear us having sex when we lived in an apartment. I used to be quite loud sometimes & my husband would try to shush me *frown*
But, hearing their T.V. sometimes, does that bug you?

Not in my current apartment, although I think that's more because they don't seem to argue, since I can hear plenty through the walls. In my old place in Boston, though, I used to hear this butt-hole who lived with his mother across the street just go on these tirades against her. He was such a dick, I almost called the police on him a couple of times.

Not really. It doesn't keep us awake and it's not so loud that we can make out what is being said . . . just can hear sounds from down there that are obviously TV sounds.

The couple that would have sex would be enough to wake me during the night, as my bedroom was right under theirs.

No. But late one night somewhere around March at I think about 2 in the morning, I was standing outside in the front yard talking to this guy I was seeing, his brother, & a friend of theirs & the neighbors across from me were drinking & smoking weed on their front porch *Thats not a smell you can mistake* Though they were not actually arguing, they were being very loud & very irritating. I thought they were gonna wake the whole damn neighborhood.

My neighbors don't argue ever. But if they did you could easily hear them. Houses here in Cali are too close together. If people have their windows open you can hear most everything they're saying inside.

No, I can't. Would be kind of interesting, though. I kind of like hearing people argue, when it has real content in it and no threats or name calling.

Yes. We had new neighbours move in in February and they don't shut up. They have two small children who are also so noisy. I can't stand them.

I don't think they hear us, but my mom worries about it that they do. Maybe we should bjust stop arguing. But i have some points to make.

I can and I love to listen when I got nothing better to do.
If they argue all the time I just tell those ones to shut it.

No, not at the new house. But at my old house...omg! The acoustics were trippy, I could hear many homes arguing.
One time my neighbor make a comment about hearing me and Mary laughing and it made her happy. Mary and I looked at each other and giglged. We knew we weren't 'laughing'.

Every once in a while, but not very often. I'm sure they can hear what goes on at my house much better than I can hear what's going on at theirs. I live in a hole. (Not really a hole, but down a hill.) Everything echoes, so people hear what we say, even when we're outside talking in a normal voice. So, I'm sure they've heard arguments that have gone on at my house.

Not any more since I live in a single "family" house. Back when I was out in the world and living in apartments yeah I could hear them argue, screw and all sorts of things...

They are way too far away. Once I lived in an apartment and the couple below was violent and sometimes they would bring it out into the hall. I called the police more than once. So did other neighbors. It was very distressing.

I live in an aluminum village/trailer park. I can hear my nieghbors walking down their hallways. thier T.V.'s and even talking on thier porch.through the noise of my own T.V..My hearing is very good. and since my eyesight isn't that good anymore, it seems my hearing got better,. damn it.Sometimes I have to put earplugs in just to nap.grrr/ as for 2 X-nieghbors across the street.,. well, I had front row seating every time they fought and made buttholes out of themselves.

Yes, about as often as I'm sure they hear my sister and I arguing. Which isn't very often.
