Pancakes, as in crêpes . Waffles and French toast are nasty. |

I really like both waffles and pancakes, but I suppose pancakes are the winner! |

French Toast, NO syrup!
Just lots & LOTS of butter. |

I rarely order them, I like them about equally. I'm more likely to get something like toast, eggs, and bacon.
I did make french toast at home a little over a week ago, just two slices for myself, though.
I also had french toast at Denny's, smothered in cherries and icing or something like that. It was pretty good, actually.
But, I probably wont order it again for a while. |

I like them all, but if asked to choose, I'd go with Waffles. |

Pancakes! |

Waffles, I guess. I'm not a huge fan of any of them, mostly because they mess with my blood sugar if they're all I have for breakfast. But I guess I have a slight preference for waffles, then pancakes, and last place is French toast. I don't usually like French toast at all because it's too eggy, although a couple of months ago I made this epic French toast from some really good country-style bread. It was very tasty. |

Waffles, I don't eat eggs, I like German toast, mostly I lean toward meat, pig, in the form of ham, sausage, & bacon. I see someone one there waving their hand wanting to ask, "Otter, what's German Toast?" Go ahead ask me what German toast is. Okay, since you asked, bread dipped in pancake batter and grilled until golden brown. |

French toast. I also like crepes. |

None. I prefer a biscuit with breakfast. |
Galomorro |
Don't care for any of these. |
cerealkiller |
I prefer all of them, but waffles the least. They must be buried under syrup |

I love them all. I would probably choose pancakes if I really had to |

I don't really like any of them. Pancakes are okay from time to time, and so are waffles. French Toast is just nasty. |

I want the French toast without the cinnamon with lots of butter and salt and pepper. |

French toast. It's the Canadian in me. |

Crepe pancakes with lemon juice and sugar, eaten with the fingers...
French toast (eggy bread) is nice but I'd always go for pancakes given the choice. And I've never had waffles (except potato waffles). |

German toast sounds nice - do you always grill it, or does frying work too? |
Otter | | (reply to Biggles) posted 9-Oct-2007 4:22pm |
Grill or fry, just like pancakes or french toast. Take bread, dip it in pancake batter on both sides, and grill or fry it until it's light brown, serve with syrup (Vermont Maple) or whatever you like. |

French toast is okay but i usually only eat the middle where the syrup wells up, I love syrup as i'm a sugar freak. Pancakes and waffles, however.. waffles have the 'dimples" that catch syrup so they win. |

Never heard of it but, it sounds fabulous! I'm going to try it this weekend!!
Where did you get this recipe? I like it!

I like waffles because the little squares hold the butter and syrup.
I like pancakes because I can put pieces of apple in them when I'm cooking them.
I like French Toast.
Can't choose. |

Dutch pancakes (pannenkoeken) with apple, cinnamon and syrup.

Otter | | posted 10-Oct-2007 8:40am |
My wife used to make it for me when we were together, I've had it made in restaurants and there are a few places where you can ask for German Toast and the cook knows what you want even if the waitress doesn't. |

There's a Dutch pancake house in town. Absolutely delicious. |

Hmm, I shall have to try that |

I think French Toast because I can to different things with it. |
| autumnlight | | posted 19-Oct-2007 12:00pm |
I most enjoy either pancakes/french toast but unfortunately can't eat them since I've found out I'm wheat intolerant. |
| autumnlight | | (reply to Melf) posted 19-Oct-2007 12:02pm |
Is it nice? I always wanted to go in but I've heard bad reviews of it so never did. |
Melf |
It's lovely, and not too expensive, either. It was quite a while ago I last went but the staff were nice and that. Have you ever been to the Italian on the same row? That place is fantastic. |
| autumnlight | | (reply to Melf) posted 22-Oct-2007 6:18am |
Yes, that italian is one of my favourite places in town! Their risotto is probably the best I've ever had. I've not been there in ages though. |
Melf |
Same. Damn, I'm hungry now |
