Inside Out: Which do you need to work more on for yourself - your mind or your body?

Do you need to work more on your insides (mentally, emotionally, psychologically) or your outsides (physical appearance, health)?

VotesAnswer
5I need to work on my "insides" more.
14My physical being needs more work.
10Both need work, equally.
4I need an overhaul (both need work, drastically).
1I need no work - I am as perfect as perfection itself.
0I'm so messed up all around, I don't have the mental capacity to answer this - or the physical energy to try.
2The creator needs to work on his creating skills and provide good answers [OTHER]:

Probably a tiny bit of both. I'm not overweight, but I'm out of shape. I need more muscle. My muscle tone is horrible.
I should work on being emotionally stronger. I get offended when I shouldn't.

My insides, I think. They're not that bad, but I think they're more worth developing. My outsides are ok, too, although it would be good if I exercised more. I also prefer working on my insides, not my outsides.

It seems like if I can fix the mental, all else, including physical, will follow. But, it's hopeless.

I'd say my physical body needs more work. While I do have issues emotionally, no more than your average person.

My "insides" are just fine, but I could probably be physically fitter. I want to take up a sport when I start uni again.

Both need continuous maintenance because when things fall apart it can be ugly.

I'd have to have inside, I try to stick to reading so many pages a day because obviously it's more intellectually stimulating then the other stuff I usually do, but physically I guess I'm at a pretty good peak, well I work out almost daily, I bend over backwards and touch the ground nightly so that's all better then the average person does, I guess.

I need a overhaul although I think if the inside is good it will show on the outside. Funny how just one set back can cause a total down fall.

Equally. If the body is a wreck, the mind is a wreck. Both work together equally. If the mind is trash, the body is disrespected.

It depends. I'd do work for my own enjoyment and pride, not people who see me. My outsides are okay, my insides are wacky and scribbly when it comes to psychological..ness. My health is.. eh. Just eh.

Each is complimentary of the other. Each give incentive to entertain the other. They are, both, interrelated and you really (in life) do not do one without the other, on some scale.
