| labjog | posted 15-Sep-2007 11:09pm about 20 hrs, I took one of my husbands oxycotins (sp?) OMG that stuff knocked me out! I will never take one of those again, it took a few days before I felt right. |
| Enigma | posted 15-Sep-2007 11:18pm Probably over ten hours but I don't really remember. |
| jettles | posted 15-Sep-2007 11:18pm i think i have slept maybe 14-16 hrs when i have been sick but i have gotten up to go to the bathroom during that time. without being sick maybe 12hrs |

| mrmarm | posted 15-Sep-2007 11:22pm 11 hours I fell asleep at 12:00 am (at night) and woke up the next 'morning' at 11:00am. |
| ausfox | posted 15-Sep-2007 11:56pm I think about 15 or 16 hours. |
| moviesnob | posted 16-Sep-2007 12:32am Over 10 hours, I'm sure, but I don't have an exact time as to when. |
| Enheduanna | posted 16-Sep-2007 1:07am I'm not sure. Almost certainly over 10 hours, though. |
| Richard47 | posted 16-Sep-2007 2:28am in my late 20's, i was addicted to crystal meth and for months got by on 2 hours of sleep a nite. When I finally crashed (without it), I slept for 5 days. It was called, 'the big sleep'..all of us addicted went through it. You only woke to go to the bathroom, and...in my case, stuff my face with donuts and went right back to sleep (sugar) |
| cabinfever | posted 16-Sep-2007 3:23am I think 9-10 hours. My bladder isn't that big.... but if you count the zombie-like stumbling to the toilet and back to the bed without really waking up, then it's closer to 16 hours, in the depths of my depression. |
| Maarten | posted 16-Sep-2007 4:33am Over 10 hours as a baby I guess. |
| Melf | posted 16-Sep-2007 5:47am 13 hours. |
| bill | posted 16-Sep-2007 8:35am I don't remember specifically, but I'm sure it's over 10 hours. It seems like you could have had longer options. I don't generally sleep for very long, but there have been times when I was younger, or when I was sick, that I slept for a long time (perhaps even 24 hours). |
| romkey | posted 16-Sep-2007 10:17am Probably around 12 hours. Normally I sleep about 7 hours. It might've been longer than 12 if I were really sick... I don't remember. |
| kirst | posted 16-Sep-2007 10:36am I'm guessing 12 hours...but it's been a long time since I've slept that long. Probably the most I've EVER slept since I've had children is 9 hours and that is quite rare. I'm used to having my sleep interrupted during the night although it's gotten a lot better in the last year. |
| Biggles | posted 16-Sep-2007 11:29am Definitely over 10 hours - maybe 14 or 15? That will have been when I worked a week of nights and then had a week off - going from night shifts to no routine makes it very dificult to get back into a normal sleeping pattern. |
| CarlHalling | posted 16-Sep-2007 2:12pm I can't say for 100% sure, but not so long ago, I think I slept for 12 hours. I can be a fitful sleeper in general; so I must have been exhausted. |
| gambler | posted 16-Sep-2007 2:14pm 9-10 hours I think |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 16-Sep-2007 2:17pm probably 8 hours is the longest I slept and I will let you know |
| RGirl | posted 16-Sep-2007 2:54pm I think it was 12 or 13 hours. |
| paulyw | posted 16-Sep-2007 7:16pm Over 10 hours. This was about 24 years ago when I was 11 |
| llamamama | posted 16-Sep-2007 9:57pm I'm going to say 12 hours..and I do that on a routine basis...Probably not the best of things to do, but...eh. |
| ultamate | posted 16-Sep-2007 11:17pm I think it was 16 hours but there was another time that was about two days. I'm not sure though if I was sleeping the whole time or just don't remember the waking times in between. It's a wonder I'm still alive! Oh wait I forgot I slept about two months once. Long story but I was very depressed and didn't have the nerve to kill myself so I thought maybe I could sleep myself to death. of course I did wake long enough to eat and go to the bath room. I thought I was succeeding when I woke up one day and threw up... but I was just pregnant. Could a person really sleep them selfs to death I wonder? |
| ultamate | (reply to Richard47) posted 16-Sep-2007 11:21pm You must have felt like crap when you finally got up! |
| cloudhugger | posted 17-Sep-2007 1:09pm Maybe about14 hours. I have a tendency to exhaust myself. One time was when I was sick. |
| Cleo | posted 17-Sep-2007 10:33pm Over 10 hours ..................
3 days!! After going on a diet pill run & then crashing out for over 72 hours. I must've really needed that sleep! |
| cerealkiller | posted 18-Sep-2007 6:24pm 16 hours once. |
| MacGregor | posted 18-Sep-2007 9:34pm Probably over ten hours when I was sick/hung over. |
| Iseult | posted 21-Sep-2007 9:15pm Probably like 12 hours, after a long trip or something. I was sick during the past week, and had couple of those things that make you fall asleep. I slept from 10.30pm until 9am. |
| docgbrown | posted 4-Oct-2007 12:15am 68 hours |
| Gomezy3k | posted 7-Oct-2007 12:53am Well back when I was a naughty boy, and used to be awake for several days at a time, I would crash and burn when I came down... So sleep for a couple days... |
