I guess I should have said Crock Pot/slow cooker since they're both the same thing. I guess I'm too used to using the term Crock Pot.

You're welcome. They're commonly know as Crock Pots in the U.S. because it was the brand name of the first one marketed here.

Everything! But mmilkshake machine or food processor. I wouldn't mind having those, but I have done so long without ever having one. I am worried once I use a food processor, I could not function without one.
I love my kitchen mechanical toys *smile*

Some are in the basement since there's so many and are brought up for later use.

We have a snow-cone maker. It shreds up ice. I love it very much.

Crock pot, electric griddle (that I hate and only the hubby uses), hand mixer, microwave, toaster, standard blender, waffle maker (that I don't use because it's too darn messy), can opener, and food processor. We also have a meat slicer. What, are you casing my house? Don't have much to steal, but you better not take my food processor!

Uh, what officer? No, I wasn't casing the joint. I'm innocent, innocent I tell ya!

Chasing it? I hope not, since it's stationary.*wink* Think you would catch it eventually.... And have fun looking through the storage areas... this old house has LOTS of them!

They call it 'kennel technician'. I walk dogs and clean up after them, clean kennels and cages, feed cats, dogs, and horses (and any other animal that might be around), clean the surgery and x-ray rooms, examination rooms, exam tables, grooming area, large animal area, reception, offices, stock foods, help hold skittish animals, do laundry, socialize with animals, bathe dogs, run errands, etc. etc. etc. Pay is crapty, hours are weird, but it's a job, and so far I really like it. Animals are cool. Oh, and there is a VERY good-looking vet that works there too.*wink* Having co-workers that are easy on the eyes doesn't hurt.

Sometimes it doesn't matter if the pay is crapty as long as you like your job & get along with your co-workers.

My dad has that one. It's very cute. The one my SO and I have (it's really his) is larger--it's big enough for two large chicken breasts. Very handy!

Out of the three I checked off only the microwave is ever used regularly. The others sit in cabinets gathering dust.

Crock pot - used once, takes too long to cook anything. I rarely think about cooking dinner all the way back to when I just get up.

Toaster sits in cabinet, used once or twice a year. I rarely eat breakfast at home.

Coffee maker also sits in the cabinet. My wife can't stand the smell of coffee brewing so if I want to use it I have to make coffee outside on the patio. I don't have a bean grinder either so I can't grind up the beans sitting in the cabinet. Much easier to get in the car and drive half a mile to the gas station for gourmet coffee already brewed. They have fresh cream too which we never have.

I honestly can't understand why people think they need all that crap. The only small appliances I have in my kitchen are the coffee grinder, the coffee maker and the toaster.

In my parents kitchen: hand mixer, microwave, hand blender, goblet blender, bread maker, and an ice cream maker.

The only one of these that I own is a hand blender. Actually, I have a microwave somewhere that I bought a few years ago - but my brother may have taken that. I would like to buy a slow cooker too.
