Yes, there are different kinds in the shower and on the sink. (Only one in each place, though.) |

No, we have one bar soap and one antibacterial liquid soap. |

Definitely.
In the tub at this moment, there are several.
One bar of Dial antibacterial, One bar of Patchouli, One bar of Something-Lemongrass, and one bar of I forget what (We bought a bunch of glycerine soaps at the pride parade this year).. Also, there are 3 different body washes in there. We like selection when it comes to how we smell. |

One bar soap brand (Dial, I think) in two flavors, though (mountain fresh, ocean breeze, something like that)... plus a liquid soap for the sink... I think every sink in our house has a liquid soap thing next to it, actually... and we have many, many sinks. |

Yes. I use Caress. Caleb uses another brand, but I can't remember what it's called. It's the kind where the bar of soap is in this little cloth-like thing. I also have another brand in the cabinet that I bought because I wanted to try it, but I've never gotten around to using it. There's liquid soap next to the sink. |

There's oatmeal soap by the sink and a bunch of others floating around somewhere in the shower. |

No. I only have bar soap (Caress) cuz my sister sent me a care package on Xmas of a bunch of bars. I only like Trader Joe's or other herbal liquid soaps now. I would never buy bar soap on my own. |

Yes. At the bathroom sink, there's a bar of Ivory. In the shower/tub area, there's a bar of Palmolive that I use & my son uses the green Ivory with aloe. |

We don't use bar soap. Currently have this totally disgusting vanilla scented liquid soap. I hate the smell of it. |

I love the Bee & Flower soap, in fact I use to buy it until Winco stopped carrying it.

Yes, but only one or two others. I love the Young Living Thieves soap, but it's pricey so I use that one sparingly. I go with , shoot....it's either Dove or Ivory, the one that floats anyway. |

someone gave me a christmas present of shaving lotion from TJ's. I thought it an odd gift from a non family member, but I found it to be one of the best gifts I was given. |

Oh, I also have I forget the name, but it's like Lava soap, has these impregnated scrubbies in it for those dirty dirty hands |

Heck, yes. The hubby uses Irish Spring. I currently have Caress in Moroccan (something) scent. I just bought a package of six bars of Caress silkening, and it had a bonus of two more bars of the Moroccan scent. In the other bathroom, we have two hotel soaps that hubby brought home. |

Palmolive makes a bar soap? For the shower? |
| darkshadowsseeker |
Yep, it's been around since the 1920s. I get mine at the Dollar Tree. A three pack is $1. It's less drying than Ivory, which is important in the warmer months when I often bath/shower at least twice a day. |
| cabinfever | | posted 20-Aug-2007 3:15am |
Less drying than Ivory? For now I use Caress because I like the scent, and the price was great on the bonus pack I got with the two different scents. But I still have some trouble with dry skin. I itch this year more than any other year I can remember, bar the years I had horrible eczema. But then, it's been a very dry summer here and the constant smoke from the forest fires doesn't help; irritates the allergies. I might have to try Dove, since it's 3/4 moisturizer. |
| EyesOfCharisma | | posted 22-Aug-2007 11:49am |
I use Dove. and Dove only. |
Iseult | | posted 24-Aug-2007 2:19pm |
No. There usually isn't any bar soap in my bathroom. I use liquid soap for hands and body wash when showering. However, just recently, I bought some Lush soap because I like them. It takes twice as long to take a shower though.
I really dislike commercial bar soaps. If I can get it for less than $3.00 a peace, I won't bother with it. |
