Sometimes I do. Some books just stay with you long after you've read them, and others are just so enjoyable that you don't really want them to end. |

I've noticed this with a few of the books I've read in the last year. If there's a certain mood to them and probably if the writing is really good and I get into it. Later, I find I miss it. |

I miss books I enjoyed, or I think ended too abruptly. |

Rarely. A few I regret giving away. |

sometimes............. I have just finished reading Last Assassin by Barry Eisler (A former CIA Operative turned Author) his protagonist is a guy named John Rain half japanese/half American an ex- special forces Assassin with a conscience, expert in hand to hand combat and a specialist with knives....I am now dying to read his other three novels and have re-read parts of this book.
some great action sequences and with this guy its always enjoyable to read bad guys dying badly
".......... There was a sickening crack as his leg bent in a way nature never intended it to......" the usual
another character like this is "Jack Reacher" from the author Lee Child former Marine Police officer, he has nice/funny narratives when his character gets into fights .............." After I delivered the blow, he dropped like a puppet with its strings cut............"

Sort of more the routine of trying to have it finished. |

Miss it? You mean it was that enthralling that I was sorry it ended like a great relationship and the other said they had to move on? Or you had to return it back to the library and it was holding the door open? |

Yes, if I really enjoyed it. I wanted the Black Magician Series and His Dark Materials series to go on forever! |

Sometimes. After I finished the last Harry Potter I was a bit sad to know the story had come to an end. There are some other books that I've missed reading after I was done. |

Sometimes. It depends on the book. |

Depends on how good the book. Ayn Rand has a few that I missed, and Anne Rice. |
