I don't know. I haven't had any contact with my mother since I was 4 years old. I don't even know if she's still alive. |

She read magazines more than books. Woman's Day, Redbook, Prevention things like that. |

Anything to do with movie stars. In fact she kept files on movies stars that had pictures, birthdays, when they died, what movies they played in etc. She had a room full of books, magazines, filing cabinets, everything. To this day there are TV guides from the late 60's up till she died in that room and I can't get rid of them. That room was her whole life... she even died in there. |

My mom doesn't read much anymore. When I was little she was always reading something by Stephen King or V. C. Andrews. |

She reads tons of both. Way too many to list. The authors that I can think of that she has read most exhaustively are Virginia Woolf, James Michener, and Anthony Trollope. |

My Mum likes to read Creation Magazine, Life in the Word Magazine (Joyce Meyer), Historical Review, Memories, etc. She reads so many books it would take hours ... Francine Rivers, Karen Kingsbury, James Patterson, Deborah Challinor (NZ historical fiction), biographies ... |

The only books I ever remember my mom reading was my books, when she was helping me with my homework |

My mom reads mysteries, mostly. I recall she was really into Dick Frances novels.
I'm not sure about magazines. I think we had a lot of Good Housekeeping around when I was a kid, but those might have been given by my grandmother (I'm not sure if my mom liked them). |

Magazines, she likes celebrity gossip & fashion stuff.
Books, she likes 'serious' books. She just read a book by that Turkish guy who won a Nobel recently (I think). She liked Da Vinci Code quite a bit and enjoys Russian authors. |

Mom read all kinds of things... she always had a huge stack of books on the go. No romance novels for her or anything like that though. Mostly historical stuff. |
