I don't have a car anymore, but when I did I kept a spare tire & tire jack in the compartment under the carpet at the back of the car (it was a hatchback). I had a small flashlight & a homemade first aid kit in the glove box. If we went for a long drive back then, I always took along a gallon jug of water & some sandwiches to nosh on. |

Some over-the-counter pills, including Advil and Tums. Tire pressure gauge. Music CDs. Gloves for handling the sticky stuff I bring to the recycling center. Change (coins) for tolls and when I pay for something (I'll grab it before I go into a store, then put it back). A pen. Lip balm. |

So far, spare tire, jack, blanket, flares, and emergency communication. I never go anywhere, so if something were to happen, the nearest phone or business or home is only yards away. |

spare, jack, tools, first aid kit, blanket, i have some other medical equipment because i have had to stop and help at an accident before and wasn't prepared.
my cell phone is usually in my bag but not left in car. i don't have a gun or flares. |

There's a spare tire in there, but I don't know if there's a jack. I also have safety flares and one of those silver thermal emergency blankets. And I have snow chains that I just leave in there. I think that's all I have. Oh, I also have jumper cables. And I usually have my cell phone with me when I'm in the car. |

Whats in it right now you mean? Cigarettes, cell phones usually on the seat, spare change on the dash, Full throttle can on the floor board, sunglasses somewhere, spare tire/car jack in the trunk, cd case under the seat, think thats about it. |

Blanket ............ I keep one just in case I take the grand kids to the park
