| darkshadowsseeker | posted 2-Aug-2007 2:20pm Plain old white vinegar is one of the cheapest & best cleaners around. It's also safer & less likely to cause an allergic reaction than most commercially available cleaning products. |
| EyesOfCharisma | posted 2-Aug-2007 3:12pm I think I would have to pick dish cleaner, I think I could do the floors, counters, bathrooms with that.... |
| gambler | posted 2-Aug-2007 3:13pm Dish cleaner, because at a push you can use it for other things as well |

| cloudhugger | posted 2-Aug-2007 3:43pm A all over the house cleaner for all example listed would be a product from Young Living Essential Oils called Thieves cleaner |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to EyesOfCharisma) posted 2-Aug-2007 3:44pm It doesn't bother me, in fact I like the smell. |
| cerealkiller | posted 2-Aug-2007 3:59pm Advanage. Sold by door-to-door salespeople. We use it for most everything. |
| Amanda | posted 2-Aug-2007 4:01pm At first, I picked 409 (or something similar) because you can clean just about anything with it. Then, I thought about dishes. I wouldn't want to wash dishes with that. So, I'm going with dish cleaner. |
| Scott | posted 2-Aug-2007 4:18pm Murphy's Oil Soap. I rarely ever eat at home, so I could do without dish cleaner. |

| Enheduanna | posted 2-Aug-2007 5:09pm The Trader Joe's all-purpose cleaner I have. It'll clean anything, even glass, and it smells yummy. It's also not hideously toxic. |
| Galomorro | posted 2-Aug-2007 5:21pm Regular Clorox bleach, preferably with the scent added. This cleans better than those watered-down cleaners. I do use a drugstore-house brand window cleaner on the windows though, not bleach. Dish detergent is Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. Williams-Sonoma is a good dish detergent too. Laundry detergent is Trader Joe's "Next to Godliness." |
| romkey | posted 2-Aug-2007 6:39pm It would be soap... the closest thing on this list would probably be dish cleaner. You can approximate most of the others with vinegar. And I've never understood the point of "dust cleaners" like Pledge... Pledge seems like more of a wax than an actual cleaner. |

| moonstone | posted 2-Aug-2007 8:05pm i can't decide between window cleaner and dish soap. you can clean pretty much anything with window cleaner EXCEPT dirty dishes..but you can clean a lot with dish soap, too. ... i guess i'd pick dish soap. i hate the smell of ammonia and i would need wash dishes, so... dish soap. final answer.
