Both, but I get a bit more goofy & sentimental with animals. Long ago, it was almost exclusively animals.

Animals, but it's phony/baby-talk.

I knew you'd come in next with an animal vote/comment. This happens to me a lot on SC.

I can easily say I love you to my cat, but not to anyone I know.

Jasmine I realize you realize homo sapiens is an animal, however your problem is you don't know what kind of animal you are. Just kidding.

My last name is Vos, which in English is Fox, so I'm an animal as well!

I tend to be much happier to see animals than people. I'm one of those people who talks baby talk to dogs and cats. It's really disgusting, but I can't help myself! Strange thing is, I don't talk that way to babies. Probably because they don't wag their tails or purr.

Why name your car if you're not going to talk to it?

I'd say more with people, although I do get quite emotional with animals as well.

I am more likely to be superficially emotional with animals - a kitten or puppy can elicit ready smiles and squeals. But I am more likely to be deeply emotional with people.

Then again, I'm planning on getting a pet, so that may change.
