I haven't since I was in school, but am now going to study the Constitution. The enemy has and will continue to destroy it, to twist it from it's true intent.

Some of it maybe and I think that I have a document here

Yes. It was required to read the short of it, in most history classes. When I took government, I had to read the whole thing. Interesting, what I found in there.

Yes, all of it.

Some of it, in addition to having professors decipher what it meant. From my understanding the US constitution puts a very high premium on positive rights and individual rights and a very low premium on negative rights and doesn't even recognize group rights. Its also something that liberals and conservatives argue about until the cows come crawling home and falsely accuse each other side of twisting it for their own intent every chance they get.

The enemy is trying to bring us all down. Damn them. Damn them to hell. How are we to live good, moral, productive lives with the enemy on our back? It's a sad, sad world that we live in.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Positive_rights

In a nutshell, positive rights are life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness. The right to not be beat, killed, robbed, etc. Negative rights: minimum wage, "living wages", social security, welfare, etc.

Or did I get it backwards. The explanation is somewhat confusing.

Yeah, I think you got it backwards, but I know what they are now. Thanks for the link.

We have a constitution, but it is uncodified - I've certainly read elements of it, but it's scattered across a lot of different documents and books, and some of it isn't written down at all.
