Do you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom?

... or day if you're a 3rd shift person ... basically, when you go to sleep (not a nap), is your sleep disrupted because you need to use the toilet?

8Yes, at least once five or more nights a week
7Depends on how much I've had to drink before I go to bed

1Sometimes I forget to use the bathroom before I go to sleep so I have to get out of bed during the night/day
1I sleep in the bathroom so the toilet is always nearby

1And the obligatory ... I have something else to say ...
0I have an incontinence problem, I'm in there more than once every night
0Only on weekends when I've been partying my ass off

Every night. Usually once or twice depending on how much sugar/carbs I took in the day before.

P.S. This is not an "incontinence problem"

Very rarely, and if it happens, it's usually toward the morning. I think if you're properly hydrated, you're supposed to have to get up at least once in the night, so I take it as a sign that I don't drink enough water.

Yes. However, I never wake up just because I need to go to toilet. It's usually that I wake up in the middle of the night and then have to go badly.

Probably less than once a week, but not much less. Usually it's in the morning, so one might even call it "going back to bed after getting up".

Of course, the more I drink before bed, the more likely...that should go without saying.

I have never had this problem ............... sometimes whilst watching TV in bed, I will have to go (after thinking I wouldn;t need too) but being "Woken" up because I need to piss, no.

On the flip side I have been woken up by needing to crap, Usually because I am sick/diaorrhea ...or because I have taken a "washout" for a some medical procedure

Yes, but I have a weak bladder from a past car accident that was further weakened by pregnancy. I also have IBS which like to flare up at the most inopportune times.

Depends on how much I've had to drink before I go to bed or sometimes I forget to use the bathroom before I go to sleep so I have to get out of bed during the night.

Whenever I'm sleeping deeply and don't wake up when I have to go, I'll have a nightmare... and when I wake up, I realize I have to go bad. I think it's my mind's way of getting me to wake up.

I get those nightmares, too. My interpretation is that I get nightmares when my body is extremely uncomfortable, becuase it happened to me when I was really cold or hot, too.

I don't get nightmares when I'm cold or hot, usually... if I'm hot, I kick off covers and cool down, then wake up just long enough to grab the sheet and pull it back over me. If I'm cold, I'll sometimes have a dream, but not a nightmare. Most times I wake up in a bad fog, all huddled in the fetal position, shaking. I'm half-conscious long enough to find the blanket and then I'm out.

Rarely, and I even usually drink a large glass of ice water with my last cigarette before going to bed.

Hardly never...less than rarely. sometimes if I drink a vat of water I might have to go, but I can usually wait. Unless I am dreaming of having to go weeeee, than it is important that I make that trip.
