| JessicaWoman99 | posted 7-Jul-2007 11:34am My sleep is not disrupted and I hardly ever have to go in the middle of the night |
| they | posted 7-Jul-2007 12:35pm Every night. Usually once or twice depending on how much sugar/carbs I took in the day before.
P.S. This is not an "incontinence problem" |
| Enheduanna | posted 7-Jul-2007 12:35pm Very rarely, and if it happens, it's usually toward the morning. I think if you're properly hydrated, you're supposed to have to get up at least once in the night, so I take it as a sign that I don't drink enough water. |
| Amanda | posted 7-Jul-2007 1:34pm Very, very seldom do I have to get up to use the restroom. |
| paulyw | posted 7-Jul-2007 2:48pm About 2 to 3 days a week. |
| bill | posted 7-Jul-2007 3:02pm yes, usually more than once.... does this mean I have diabetes? |
| Iseult | posted 7-Jul-2007 4:10pm Yes. However, I never wake up just because I need to go to toilet. It's usually that I wake up in the middle of the night and then have to go badly. |
| Zang | posted 7-Jul-2007 4:23pm Probably less than once a week, but not much less. Usually it's in the morning, so one might even call it "going back to bed after getting up".
Of course, the more I drink before bed, the more likely...that should go without saying. |
| RGirl | posted 7-Jul-2007 5:06pm #1 or #2? I am rarely up to go #1. |
| gambler | posted 7-Jul-2007 7:09pm I have never had this problem ............... sometimes whilst watching TV in bed, I will have to go (after thinking I wouldn;t need too) but being "Woken" up because I need to piss, no.
On the flip side I have been woken up by needing to crap, Usually because I am sick/diaorrhea ...or because I have taken a "washout" for a some medical procedure |
| cantilever | posted 7-Jul-2007 7:48pm Every night! When a gal's gotta pee, she's just gotta pee! |
| Enigma | posted 7-Jul-2007 11:05pm Yes I have to get up sometimes. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 7-Jul-2007 11:09pm Yes, but I have a weak bladder from a past car accident that was further weakened by pregnancy. I also have IBS which like to flare up at the most inopportune times. |
| cabinfever | posted 8-Jul-2007 12:51am Depends on how much I've had to drink before I go to bed or sometimes I forget to use the bathroom before I go to sleep so I have to get out of bed during the night. |
| cabinfever | (reply to Iseult) posted 8-Jul-2007 12:54am Whenever I'm sleeping deeply and don't wake up when I have to go, I'll have a nightmare... and when I wake up, I realize I have to go bad. I think it's my mind's way of getting me to wake up. |
| Iseult | (reply to cabinfever) posted 8-Jul-2007 7:01pm I get those nightmares, too. My interpretation is that I get nightmares when my body is extremely uncomfortable, becuase it happened to me when I was really cold or hot, too. |
| cabinfever | (reply to Iseult) posted 8-Jul-2007 7:59pm I don't get nightmares when I'm cold or hot, usually... if I'm hot, I kick off covers and cool down, then wake up just long enough to grab the sheet and pull it back over me. If I'm cold, I'll sometimes have a dream, but not a nightmare. Most times I wake up in a bad fog, all huddled in the fetal position, shaking. I'm half-conscious long enough to find the blanket and then I'm out. |
| cerealkiller | posted 9-Jul-2007 1:46pm Rarely, and I even usually drink a large glass of ice water with my last cigarette before going to bed. |
| Wackadoo | posted 9-Jul-2007 4:46pm About 2-3 times a week depending on how much beer I've consumed. |
| LindaH | posted 9-Jul-2007 9:57pm Sometimes |
| cloudhugger | posted 9-Jul-2007 11:22pm Hardly never...less than rarely. sometimes if I drink a vat of water I might have to go, but I can usually wait. Unless I am dreaming of having to go weeeee, than it is important that I make that trip. |
| jettles | posted 10-Jul-2007 11:12am i get up at least once per night and sometimes more. i drink a lot and this is how i have always been. |
| jettles | (reply to bill) posted 10-Jul-2007 11:13am > yes, usually more than once.... does this mean I have diabetes?
aaahh, NO |
| bill | (reply to jettles) posted 10-Jul-2007 11:47am oh, thank God! |
| EyesOfCharisma | posted 12-Jul-2007 12:32pm I get up once a night... For like a week I was waking up about 5 times a night.. I was exhausted |
| Pomeranian | posted 12-Jul-2007 9:32pm Rarely in the middle but sometimes I will go multiple times before I can fall asleep if I had had liquid too soon before bed. |
| Biggles | posted 14-Jul-2007 6:55pm Very rarely - only if I have the runs, or if my period is very heavy. |
| thecomic22 | posted 19-Jul-2007 3:54pm I rarely get up to use the pot at night, maybe to get a drink of water though. |
