No but I'd like to watch it and maybe try it. There's a bocce ball court that I sometimes walk by but I have never seen anyone out there playing. |

I played a couple of times when I was little; my cousins had a bocce set. I don't think we played it right, though. |

Yes, I had an italian boyfriend, his family were so cool...generations of us played bocce-ball. It was fun and normal and I miss that. |

Yes. One of my friends from childhood had a bocce court in her backyard. |

Yes, just a couple months ago, actually. I enjoy the game. I'm pretty good at it too, I think. |

As a matter of fact, I played it just the other day. It's quite a fun game, but I'd call it more of a cross between bowling and horseshoes. |

Nope, never played it, and I think I've only seen it played for a few minutes one time. |

I thought only old Italian guys played this. |

No but it sounds like Pétanque which I have also never played... |

I've played bowls. The only difference between that and bocce, seems to be that bocce is played in teams. I've never played bowls in a team, so I suppose I have never played bocce. |

No I haven't but there is a park near me where people play all the time. They look like they're really enjoying themselves. |

No. I always picture old sweaty Italian guys getting all serious with the bocce set. Seems a bit out of my league. |

AKA Lawn-bowling. No, I haven't played it. Here in Vancouver, there's a neighbourhood that has a large Italian and Portuguese immigrant population. The old guys that don't sit around in the coffee shops watching football, tend to gather in the local parks playing bocce ball. That is my only experience around this game. |

That was kind of my impression too.
