Probably less than $100. I'm not in the habit of lending money |

My sister borrowed more than $5000 from me, and is gradually paying me back. |

I don't like to think about it - if all paid me back; I could retire! |

None. I don't loan money out much, and it's always to people who pay me back when I do. |

zero, but I have loaned people money, but not very often and not in a long time |
| EyesOfCharisma | | posted 26-Jun-2007 10:42am |
I would loan people money if I had some to give, and if someone needs something... say $5.00, and I can spare it... I just give it to them. |

maybe between 500-1000 but then i bet you that i owe other people a good amount if you add up all the little amounts that you borrow over time! |
| Wackadoo | | posted 26-Jun-2007 11:24am |
I don't recall anyone that owes me money but perhaps a return favor. I don't typically loan people money - I don't have any to loan! |

Have not loaned any money |

$295.00 That's from four different people and it goes back between 6 and 21 years. I doubt I'll ever see any of it. |

Probably over $5,000 right now to family members. I desperately need it myself but they don't have any money to pay it back to me. |

About $300, but part of that is in stolen goods from an old friend who doesn't deserve friends and now doesn't have any. |

I'm guessing about £20, altogether. |

More than $5,000. Only a small portion is from money I actually loaned out (maybe $500). About $4,000 my brother's ex-wife owes me on a car she bought. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH FAMILY! She paid me one note on it, then I never saw another penny. Since she was married to my brother and was also my best friend, I trusted her, so I went ahead and signed the title over. Big mistake. She ended up trading the car in on another car. Needless to say, I'll never see a penny of that. Another $1,200 of it is money my dad and step-mom owe me. When my mom died, I got her car. Well, I moved and they sold it for $1,200 while I was gone (to this same ex-sister-in-law). I never saw a penny of that money and I never will. There's other money my dad owes me on similiar stuff. His wife is basically all about playing the "let's screw Amanda" game. Sadly, she usually wins. |

I never give away $$ that I can't afford to lose therefore it is never a loan. I am owed nothing. |

I don't loan people money. |

My dad used to tell me "You never loan people money with the expectation of getting it back. If you need it back you had no business giving it away in the first place" In other words, to dad if you gave someone money you gave it to them. For him, getting it back was a bonus.
I should have listened to him. I could use the money I loaned one of my friends back now, it's quite a sum. In hindsight, I had no business "loaning" it. |
