| jjg | posted 27-Aug-1999 6:43pm Sisko kicks ass, but I don't like the messiah thing so I must pick Picard. |
| romkey | posted 27-Aug-1999 6:54pm Sisko, cause he's not the prissy-pants do-gooder that Picard and Janeway are, and he's a lot smarter than Kirk. Besides, his voice is to die for. |
| romkey | posted 27-Aug-1999 6:54pm jjg - yeah I didn't like the culmination of the whole Prophet thang. |
| daver | posted 27-Aug-1999 7:24pm Well, I've only seen two of them... |
| Jasmine | posted 27-Aug-1999 10:54pm Picard is the ultimate in realistic and my favorite. Kirk would have been court marshalled before he made lieutenant. Sisko comes in second as realistic, though i'd rather watch Kirk's crew. Janeways crew is tired, I can't take to much of it. And DAX is my alter, it used to be Spock, which was my nickname growing up. |
| miykal | posted 27-Aug-1999 10:55pm Has to be Kirk. The original tends to 'imprint' like Sean Connery as James Bond. |
| Jasmine | posted 27-Aug-1999 10:57pm You mean Peter Sellers and Woody Allen; they were first in 'Casino Royale'. |
| bill | posted 28-Aug-1999 7:43am Kirk, because he was wilder and less pensive; a hero and leader who left the heavy thinking to his loyal men but always was in the center of the action. The answers are in the order in which I liked them. I liked Picard a lot too, but he didn't beam down to the planet and fall in love enough. Sisko I liked, but somehow I didn't fall for his act (the voice and attitude seemed overwrought). Janeway isn't very good, her decisions often didn't make much sense, I'd often think "huh?". I think it's too bad about Janeway, it would have been cool to have a good female captain. I hope they'll try again. |

| SueBee | posted 28-Aug-1999 10:33pm I chose Picard, but I see several people like Sisko and I don't even know who that is. Is he the most recent one? |
| Maarten | posted 29-Aug-1999 10:27am I HATE Startrek |
| Frostbrand | posted 29-Aug-1999 7:55pm Kirk: Slept with anything that walked. Picard: Too strict, too by the book. Janeway: Took time out in the middle of a crisis to fix her hair. Sisko: Saved half the galaxy, raised a son by himself, lead not one, not teo, but three fleets of ships, and in the end he essentially became a god. No contest. |
| Renee | posted 30-Aug-1999 3:48am PICARD WOO WOO WOO...boy does that scream LOOSER or what |
| gilly | posted 30-Aug-1999 3:45pm Looser than what? or whom? |
| eris | posted 30-Aug-1999 9:05pm No Opinion. |
| msgman | posted 19-Sep-1999 1:10pm There's only One True Star Trek, and that's the original. All the others are just pale imitations. |
| Mariah | posted 29-Oct-1999 7:12pm I don't watch Star Trek. Sorry. |
| ILJ | posted 11-Nov-1999 2:45pm I searched the archives and found a *really* cool Trek survey here... not to criticize this survey, but you should check that one out too. |
